I'm sure seatbelts save a hell of a lot more people than they kill. Your choice though.Anyone ever hear of an accident when the person wearing the seatbelt would have survived if he had chosen not to put it on. It can go either way people. My current belief is that the seatbelt law is crazy, and it should be each individual users choice. My choice so I do not wear one. ;-)

Perhaps his seatbelt was broken. But if it was fully functional and he chose not to use it and has serious injuries, that would be a shame.
When any adult chooses not to wear a seatbelt, what kind of role model is that for children who might be riding in the car? What happens to the children of seriously injured or deceased parents who chose not to buckle up? Then those preventable injuries and deaths become everyone's problem...the rest of us bear the burden of caring for children who lose a parent and, if injuries are sustained, we all see our insurance rates increase. Who wants those kinds of choices?
