This is definitely a case where Mohr was going to be less but now is more again. Write in the lady. We know she's got no balls.

Go to the Township website to check the minutes of the meetings. Two weeks ago, I approved a 3% salary increase for myself. My salary and benefits were to be around $129,000. Yep! Ha ha...I fooled you! I just said I would reduce my own salary because that was the only thing I could think of to get myself elected. But, then, I cried about the lawful reduction to the $15,000 I promised to take, just to smear my colleagues and make you embarrassed to live in a Christian Community. I think it worked. What luck!!
But things are looking up for me this week, even though I admitted to misleading the people for the past six months, I now have accepted $81,250 plus full benefits. I fooled you again! Do you still trust me??? I can't wait to introduce you to my manager!

I mean.....my son!!!!

Wait to see how many hrs I work to get my 81,250!!
They didn't set any part-time hrs for me!!
I have free run of the twp and will collect my 81,250 w/o any set hrs!! WHAT A TWP!!!!

Yes that was when the budget was set. Why is it a coincidence? That is when the man takes office that plans to work part-time.
Maybe you should try to find out all the facts before you start accusing.
How much part time work will DM do? When will he do it? What are his minimal duties to be performed? When will he pick up his full time pay check?

If you were at the meeting tonight, Monday the 22nd, you would have heard D. Dale Mohr publically admit that he did not always state he would take the amount of $15,000 ONLY after a manager was hired. In a lot of his literature he made no correlation between the two. It came from the horses uh mouth.
When the discussion of the salary reduction was before the board the other members asked Mohr questions about the reduction and why he chose the figure $81,250 and he did NOT answer them. For a man who talks about open board discussion he sure gave the cold shoulder.
Yeah......and come to the mtgs and see how he turns his back to the board and residents and makes gestures while others are discussing the issues. HE'S A CIRCUS CLOWN!!

Let's see:$81,250.00 divided by 52 equals $1562.50.
Part time position 15 hours per week equals $104.00 per hour. But remenber there is probably a 4 week vacation clause(or mohr) so it works out to more like $117.00 per hour.
Told the wife last night we're movin' to Jenison so I can run for supervisor and cash in on the Gold Rush. All I need to do is lie to the Press and people of the community and in four years we'll be livin' the High Life. And then we can retire to Florida! What a Country!

I was thinkin'..since I haven't proven to be a very trust worthy person, that I should raise a motion to decrease my own salary to the salary I promised all of the people. I think that would be a good will gesture. Not like the ones I make at meetings.
I am planning on taking full responsibility for my lies, slander, personal vendetta, and childish behavior. I apologize to all of you. Really, I didn't mean to mislead anybody, I just wanted to get elected. By the way, I really need some dental work done, can you recommend someone?

It all sounds easy! If, anybody could do the job of supervisor why is it that nobody else is willing to give it a try, maybe for once someone like NG is trying to do the right thing for a change-whatever the salary turns out to be. Working for the community and its residents to me is the most important part of an elected officals job anyway.

Why would the following statement be made by a resident? "I'M ON THE SUNSET ASSOCI. BOARD, SO I HAVE TO VOTE FOR MOHR." Is Sunset Assoc.(Sunset Manor & Villages & Waterford Place) trying to gain control of our township government through donations & votes for candidates who would favor them? Chad Tuttle is the Executive Director of Sunset Assoc. and is one of the 3 new trustee elects, and Dale Mohr is a charter member of Waterford Place. Sunset Assoc. is the largest employer and business property owner in Georgetown that PAYS NO PROPERTY TAXES under the umbrella of non-profit. This means they pay nothing for all the fire, police, and emergency calls to anyone residing on their association property including the Waterford Place condos that are selling like hot cakes even though Michigan's economy is depressed. Maybe someone should look into how much Sunset donated to Mohr, Scholma & Tuttle. I'm sure it would be revealing.

Please let's focus on the real issues Georgetown has to face in the near future. The on and off ramps will be complete in 2009, the liquor ordinance is in the process of being written, property taxes continue to increase while our housing values go in the opposite direction and scarcity of jobs. Our Township is a fantastic source of skilled and educated people that is attractive to many employers. Now it's time for the local officials to do their jobs and attract businesses fitting for the community. However, we have to be careful with the types of businesses we allow. This is why there needs to be a full-time, committed Supervisor with the energy and integrity to listen to ALL the residents and make decisions that would benefit the community. Right now, the issues are too important to ignore.

I am well qualified to be the Supervisor of Georgetown Township. I have a degree in business with a minor in economics, 17 years of accounting experience with 13 of those years working in management and budgeting. Controversy is nothing new to me as I worked several years for a Fortune 50 Company in auditing and management. In my senior year at GVSU, I was hired into an accounting management position for a Fortune 500 Company. I am ready, able and willing to serve the residents of Georgetown Township.

We know what Dr. Mohr has to offer and what he has accomplished in his 40 years as a politician. I offer a completely different point of reference, experience and education. Please allow the democratic process to work and stay positive and respectful.

If you would like more information on me and my goals for the Township, please go to my website www.nicolegeerts.com , or call my home if that's a more convenient method of contact.

Thank you,

Nicole
