It takes an incredible amount of courage make at stand like that in a public forum. I would not be surprised to see a backlash similiar to one that Bill Cosby recieved after he gave a speech along those same lines. I wonder where he stands on the Jena 6 issue.

Most blacks get rather upset when a black person says that African Americans need to start accepting responsibility for thier actions. As the old saying goes, the truth hurts.
