It had many of the signs of the early civil rights protests -- militant slogans, upraised clenched fists and multitudes of police -- but none of the hate and fear-drenched campaigns in Selma, Little Rock and ...

Sharpton is right: Blacks should be allowed to indescriminantly kill whites if any type of rope is put in a tree. Having 6 gang up on 1 is a fair fight and kicking a kid in the head until he is unconcious and perhaps dies is surely equal to a symbolic prank of putting a noose in a tree. Thank God the school responded by cutting down the tree in question and expelling the students involved. I think all white people ought to be hanged if they even think a negative thought about blacks. Having 3,000 angry blacks threaten the population of this small rural town just shows what whitey can get if they dare try to get up after getting kicked to death. Fair is fair. Sharpton for President!

People like you have no purpose in human society. Do the white, and black people a favor,...swallow 40 sleeping pills! You can count, right?

The one question I've not seen in any post on the internet about this whole thing is why did two black kids feel it necessary to ASK PERMISSION to sit under a tree in the school yard in the first place? Does that not reek of racial segregation and racial inequality being alive and well in the south? Are we all forgetting what started this whole mess? If any of you, black or white, can say with conviction that there is social, economic, racial, religious equality in the US you are burying your ignorant head in the sand and ignoring all the signs.

I comment on the current Jena 6: I personally feel that it all could have been avoided. I am a young black female living in the city know for the civil rights movement. I had took the time to put myself in the black guys shoes. I think the qhite kids hanging the nooses in the tree was making a statement, point blank. It is clear that they( black guys) had the right to sit under the tree, but the white guys were saying you're not allowed and don't come back, if you do this is what will happen to you. Looking at that, that is clearly justure of a hate crime. Why were'nt they punished for that. The fact that the 6 guys jumped on the white guy is wrong. But come on these are high school kids, I think the school should have handled both matters. Whatever the punishment would have been for fighting. the media is trying to portray that he was beat so bad, he was beat uncouncious...it is clear that he came to, shortly after if he attended a high school function later that evening.
Racism is a horrible thing, but as i read in previous post, it is taught. Some intentionally and some not intentionally teach there children that, black and white. I was born in the late 70's and wasn't apart of the 1965 Selma to Montgomery Mach...Bloddy Sunday, but my parents and grandparents were. If your parents tell you some of the things they had to endure just to get the right to vote and feel equal, it makes you want to hate. But, you as a person have to say okay we are past that (but are we) and try to move on without hate in your heart for whites or anyone. Not everyone is a racist, and believe me living in Selma, Alabama we still deal with that, but me personally I will not tolerate NO ONE treating me less because of the color of my skin. So to the blacks, if you have those that want to make you feel like you are less, show them that you are just as equal as they are. take advantage of the education you can get, go to college get as many degrees as you want. Go and vote..yes it does count. Stand up for what is right no matter the race may be. My opinion on Jena 6...it is a racial issue, my support goes out to the family of those involved. My prayers are with them and the city of Jena...they will never be looked at the same. Just as the city of Selma, Alabama...we are known for the historical Bloddy Sunday...Selma to Montgomery march which is re-enacted ever year March 1-3.

You are a racist, but won't admit it.

There is very little of value in your "entitlement" culture.

What we have is a forced dumbing down of rich American culture in favor of a racist culture. We have allowed white racism to be replaced by black racism.

Tell the truth, The "Jena 6" are thugs that have been in trouble with the law before, Bell had been charged with assault in the past, but because he's a star football player. His prior crimes had been swept under the rug. This had nothing to do with the write tree it occured months afterward.

The Jury was all write , why..? Because no blacks got off their lazy as*es to show up for Jury duty,

His court appointed lawyer was Black..

Let's review, Six teens jump and stomp a kid unconscience, And they're the victims here..? If it had been the other way around . if the criminals had been white , They'd be facing Federal Hate crime charges

You can alwats count on the mainsteam media to cover up and distort the truth about Black crime..

Remeber me, MLK? I preached no violence. Today, the black movement has went the way of Jesse and Rev AL. We have young black men singing, "KIll a Cop", we have young balck men degrading women, degrading their own race. This is not what I wanted. This is not what I fought for. This is not what I died for. Why, why has this happened? All I wanted, was the black race to have the same opportunity as the whites. I did not want any special treatment, only fair treatment. I did not want violence. Now we have balcks killing black, Whites, kids, etc. What happened?

.

In addition to Mychal Bell's recent felony conviction, his criminal history was revealed Friday to contain four other violent crimes.

Three months prior to this current attack, Bell committed two violent crimes while on probation for a Christmas Day battery in 2005, according to testimony.

Bell was adjudicated -- the juvenile equivalent to a conviction -- of battery on Sept. 2 and criminal damage to property on Sept. 3, said Cynthia Bradford, LaSalle Parish deputy clerk.

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright seem to hate whites, America, and Red, White, And Blue.
But those they really are hell bent on destroying are their own, and they are doing a great job.
