Simply nothing wrong with agreeing that the Jemez can build this there. These indiginous people have a right to do whatever the other nations are doing.

Anyways, once Texas allows the Tigua to re-start their own facilities, this will be a moot point. You'll get some from NM going to Anthony, but everyone else will go to El Paso, and this pretty much is inevitable. So, altho I like the Sunland Park, this Jemez casino isn't the scourge that these other casino operators would have you believe.

Well naturally, the massculero apache tribe and the Sunland park casino will denounce the proposed casino the Jemez pueblo wants to build. They do not want any competition in southern New Mexico. They want to be able to take all the profits from the unsuspecting gamblers and not share anything with anybody.

And thats why they are know as the Massculero Tribe

Of course it will hurt the Pot of Gold for Sunland Park Casino, they control the situation now and do everything they can to keep their profit in the upper 70%; a new casino will bring more options to the public and it will required a better and nicer accomodations at the Sunland Park Casino, these are dirty and antiquated. My vote goes to open the new casino as quickly as possible.

The Sunland Park Casino needs some competition. If you play there, you will notice that payouts on machines are less than Vegas and seldom do you see anybody win. New Mexico allows a casino to payout only 80% whereas in Vegas the payout is 92% to 96% depending on location. Sunland Park is a rip off. Maybe some competition will force them into a fairer payout.

Continuing to allow Sunland to use their political clout so they can run a shabby operation is wrong.

A little competition never hurts. This way the Sunland Park Casino will have to start paying out more. This casino just hasn't been paying out like it used to.

Why the hell is the Obama administration considering allowing this tribe to build out here so far from their land that is closer to Albuequerque but won't consider allowing the Tigua's to reopen their casino. Some one getting a kick back !!!!!

We have 2 lousy options here, go to a strictly slot machine casino with terrible payouts, or drive 2 hours to a real casino with table games, slots, poker, etc. I don't care where a tribe is from, let them build, Anthony needs something to make the place more attractive anyway and I want to play some real casino games that I have some control over. Besides, I'm bored to death here, need something fun and close.

I second that. Yes a real casino if Sunland Park casino not the racetrack were in Vegas they wouldn't be open 30 days before going out of bussiness.

The ones not allowing the tigua's to restart their casino are the good old boys in austin, not the obama administration. The state of new mexico allows casino gambling where as the state of texas does not.Wonder why the good old boys in austin don't want that to happen.

Sunland Park needs some competition, they have a monopoly and El Pasoan need to have more choice. I say they need to be able to build this casino.

LET US GET PERRY OUT OF OFFICE AND THE TIGUA'S BACK IN OPERATION. AUSTIN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT WEST TEXAS.
