Prescribed burn makes for a smoky Wednesday morning in Rio Grande Valley
An air quality alert is in effect until Wednesday for smoke from a prescribed burn in the Jemez Wilderness northeast of Jemez Springs.

I often wonder if they ever give thought to how the wind is blowing when planning these "controlled" burns which many times become uncontrolled.
We are smothered under smoke and it is making it hard to breath today.
They should pass out gas mask !
