I don't think you cronies get it. The buck starts and stops with Les Stiers. He is the one that will accept responsibility for the misdeeds he's done. The citizens, town or the council played very little role in misrepresenting the monies that have come and gone through the office of the recorder.
It is he that has been less than truthful with the public!
It is he that has spent two years of destruction of the electric system and therefore is to blame for every dime spent on both sides of the building.
When his day comes, and it will, I just hope the recorder don't go down with him. Even though at the last council meeting she declined to record the meetings that was ask of her by an elected official. That is called insubordination. Most employees would have been fired just for that one comment that "she would not record them." Isn't that why she's call the city recorder?
We the people of the city has been screwed over enough by those holding high office at city hall. It's time for a change and I mean a big big change!

What are the misdeeds? You do not know anything but negetative, destruction comments. You are a cry baby!! You have tried every approach, path, angle to destroy the City, and you have and will fail, thus falling on your ugly face and mouth. Get yourself a crying towel. How is he putting us in debt ?? I think that they were a few before him that done that for us really, he bought a building for the town to have a place were we could go and have thing's in the winter time when you can't be outside.... But what else ?? Things he has got grant's for, and that is great, it's about time that someone wont's to do things for Jellico and make things a bit better and nicer for all of us !!!! Big deal rjj if we are one of his ,all you are is negative about everything.. Everything you comment on is negative.... Jellico need's positive!!!!!POSITIVE!!!! You got it !!POSITIVE!!

If we had somebody besides a Negative mayor, maybe things would be positive.

This Mayor is clearly a power freak and an ego junky! Its all about his glory! He has little or no respect for anyone else! This man only seeks praise from the public! If this little town can survive him, maybe things will be better under a new leader! All those in power at the present time need a firm kick in the a&& next election! Its time for some new blood and new ideas! Don't be fooled by the con's that hold office now!

You evidently don't know him. He is the most positive person I have ever seen. I think you could take some lessons from. Him, just saying.

New blood????? You got and all some people do is BITCH, New leader, HA, HA, HA, what some of you want is the old leaders that did nothing, except help themselves and family. Making changes does ruffle feathers, does it not.

That is exactly what you have got, new people, new blood, and new ideas. Sorry, if you don't like change! The mayor is doing exactly what he said he would. He is doing a good job, so get over it!

Yes! You are so right in what you say. Les said he would do his best to make changes in Jellico that would help the town survive. I do remember that other administrations tried to do some of the things Les HAS done but they backed down when people started protesing. Well, people have protested against what Les has done too but the difference is, HE has NOT backed down and he won't back down on other things he has planned. Watch the annexation happen (both Bowlin Straight and Newcomb). He said he will do it and he WILL. This man is not going to be intimidated by the good old boy network. You go Mayor!

If Lesis the man you say he is,he will run the City he has & won't try & take on more than the City can Manage now.The citizens have put up with no sidewalks & alot of stuff the City don't have, but when the Annex thing goes into play, there will be sidewalks & other stuff put in that are not there right now..........
