If you think you can come on here & spread your lies & nobody's going to call you on them, you better think, again, Fruitcake! And as for your penchant for reporting anybody who disagress with you, you're wasting your time. I couldn't care less about you otr anybody else reporting me. but, in you're case , it just calls Topix attention to what a Liar you are...something all the rest of us already knew.
You remind me of a Spoiled Kid, always running & tattling whenever you don't get your way, while sneaking around doing all kinds of horrible things to other Kids & that's OK, because "You're Special"! You're Special, alright, in the same way all crazy People are "Special"! Someday, Somebody will show you that you're not at all "Special" & I would advise you to learn that lesson well, because you may not get a second chance! Now, run & tattle , again...I fully expect you to!
OH MIGHTY LEADER,WHO IS THE REST OF US?YOU,YOU,AND YOU?GO TO BED.You're ceazy tonight.

I thank you for those kind words and offering to be there. The way I see it, just the thought means a lot. And I will tell you the same, if you need anything, just ask me and if it is in my power I will help you. That is what we are suppose to do. If I can help you in any way, just let me know.

I may just do that. By the way I want to apologize for my harsh words I said to folks on here. I had no right to blame the world for what only a tiny few done.

Are you saying that everyone should have known what you were going thru and sprang into action to help? Most people do not publicize their troubles, and the ones that do, most often do not have troubles but are just lazy and are trying to get something without working for it. This makes others skeptical. If you are truly in need, their are many Government agencies, funded by tax dollars, to help people.
Decades ago people helped each other until the feds decided to tax the people and create these agencies. This caused a drop in donations to charities, leaving them under funded.

This makes more people turn to Government for help instead of helping themselves.

I would much rather see those tax dollars go to someone truly in need than to the generations of lazy people who refuse to try to better themselves.

Think about what u just sd. That the ones who do ask for help are just to lazy to help themselves. Thats what makes good honest folks hate to say help me. I dont get goverment assistance at all. We disconnected phones and internet and ate. Most people are struggling.

Look I would never take a handout from the goverment or an individual, I was raised up in the mountains and very poor, with a lot of pride and learned at an early age how to make do. Just knowing folks ask though, does help the spirits and gives you faith. But like I said, I apologize for getting so angry and blaming the entire world for what a few done. A lot of the things I could have used, that survived, could have been cleaned and used, but it was all taken, and I know where it use to be. I have tried to get another house, but the banks won't finance me, credit not good enough. I am close to retirement so looks like my home home is about out of reach now. My sons drug problem costed me my home, I know! I have spent a lot to help him, he has just about broke me, got out of jail a month ago, and back in Friday night, for quiet a long time this time. Everything is just beating me up pretty bad. But again I do apologizes for being so harsh and hating the world. Guess I just try to go on , get over it and make do with what I have.

I am sorry that you had to learn the hard way. Your son made the decisions that put him where he is.

You made yours to help him at the cost of your own security. I would never go to that extreme to help even a child that chose that path to destruction. I had a daughter that got arrested for DUI many years ago. She called me for bail and I refused to get her out of jail. She sat there the mandatory 2 days. Call me mean or hard-hearted but she never got another DUI.

It is one thing to help your child when they come on hard times through no wrongdoing on their part. But to continue to "rescue" a delinquent is only enabling them to more mischief. The more they get away with, the more they will try next time.

I stand by that. Most all of the ones who go out and apply for these assistance programs have been raised on them and have never worked an honest day in their life. Many of them, not only get assistance but steal, deal drugs, or use other illegal means to get money without earning it. And our politicians are nothing more than enablers who continue to increase these programs and make it possible for these criminals to be released back into society.

There have been many times in my life that I was down and needed some help. I didn't go to my parents for it.

There was one time when my wife was 9 months pregnant and I was in the hospital recovering from an appendectomy. My wife did apply for and received assistance. Yes I also signed the application because my illness also cost me my job. After I was cleared to work, I went to a county lake every afternoon and worked on a maintenance crew. I was also required to go every morning to the employment office and apply for jobs. Once I was employed, the assistance stopped. We did not receive "free" assistance. I had to work for what we got, and we never asked for it again.

This is what public assistance or welfare was meant for. It was not created to be a cradle to grave way of supporting generations of people who are too lazy to work.

Other times, I have gone out and got another part time job or two to get me through and caught back up. At one point I had 4 part time jobs and no full time work. I have lost everything due to fire, but I recovered, again through hard work. I would take in odd jobs, mow lawns, repair cars, deliver pizza, drive a cab, whatever I could do to legally earn enough to support my wife and kids.

I am sure you were right, but I loved my kids so very much and still do. I have been a single man for 20 years now and raising them, they were all I had. I have nop other family here. I just never wanted to lose them. Well at least the 2 daughters are doing wonderful, so guess I didn't strike out.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Scorpio

It's a frustrating and rather disappointing day because you have to cope with delays and setbacks to your plans. A travel arrangement may have to be postponed or there could be a hitch about something connected with education. You're also feeling subdued and tired, and you're longing to spend some time on your own although this may not be possible. Don't worry, this difficult mood will soon blow over.
