If you are like me with no health insurance and don't get the free prescription drugs you really need to price check. I was using a well know chain drug store to purchase all my prescriptions and had another family member using a small local private owned drug store. We each had one prescription of the same meds same strength everything and I was shocked at the price difference. The large chain drug store charges $ 102.00 more for the same prescription as the small local drug store. I went back to my drug store and questioned them and was told that the smaller drug store was more flexable on their pricing. WAY MORE FLEXABLE. I transferred all my prescriptions to the local drug store and I am totally surprised at my savings now for my prescriptions. So for everyone thinking that the larger stores are doing us a favor because they are big and nationwide we are WRONG. I am now saving $ 236.00 per month on the same prescriptions. Check it out yourself, I was shocked.

Also check publix grocery and winn Dixie, they charge A LOT less than CVS and many prescriptions are free.
