On July 5 2010, I went to Buybacks in Clarksville Indiana to sell my life's collection of video games which consisted of about 500 games, all in excellent condition! I was rudly greeted by some Fat ugly short female i think with this hideous tatoo on her forearm, glasses, and no nametag! I explained that I was selling my life's collection and that it was a very hard thing for me to do, to which I got no reply just a sigh like she didn't want to really look through my collection or like she was frustrated!! Immediatly I felt very uncomfortable!!! Most of my collection is in Mint Condition, yet she didn't even browse half the collection saying they were damaged or had a simple sticker on them, even though the disk were fine!!! There was 3 employee's working yet my buisness transaction was rudly and consistently interuppted by a employee who seemed to not know anything she was doing!!! It was extremly Rude and unprofessional!!! She kept walking off and chatting with other people, It felt like I was being ignored!!! After the 14th interuption my patience had run out! Here I am making a hard decision to sell my collection and having so much difficulty with the staff that I told her "NerverMind it seems like i'm wasting your time." to which she replied, "I never asked you to bring all this junk in the first place!" I could not believe that comment!!! What kind of ClownShow are you people running?? You just hire any idiot off the streets?? It was a terrible experiance for me!! I will never shop at a BuyBacks ever again and Beleive me when I say that I will let everyone know about my experiance and what kind of people you hire!! And since I work in a Drive-Thru, I talk to about 250 people a day!!! I will also take it upon myself to let all my XBox live friends know about this, all 98 of them and I am sure they will also let other people know what kind of circus BuyBacks is!!! And I am sure your competitors will appreciate my buisness alot more than you people did!!! I can be reached at ChrisHubbard5000@Yahoo.com

I purchased a television series from buybacks. In the series there were six seasons. After dealing with the crap attitude of the person who helped me, I come to find that none of the dvds were in the right cases or boxes and at the end of season three the last disc was trashed amongst others. The woman who had put together the dvds, cleaned all of them packed them, knowing that some discs were in poor condition, bagged them, took my money and sold me bad dvds.:( It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't had this problem with them before. I purchased a game that didn't work and they refused to take it back or let me exchange it. Not to mention the piss poor attitudes. Hundreds of people in the Southern Indiana area would kill to have their jobs and would be excellent employees.

So, if you want to deal with sassy, I'm better than you attitudes, poor customer service, and the risk of ending up with bad products, buybacks is the place to go.

This place is a joke. I called to ask them if they bought PlayStation 2 and they told me yeah they did so I left from French Lick Indiana which is about 60 Miles from Clarksville took it in there remind you now that I have only had this for 3 months and we have played it about 6 times. So upon arriving I waled in there with the system and like 6 games to be informed that they were no longer buying them due to the fact that they already had too many and they said that it had scratches on it which it does not they just wanted an excuses not to buy from me I guess. I agree 100% with all the comments above these people should not be working with the public if they cant treat us with in a professional manor. IF IT WERE NOT FOR US THEY WOULD NOT EVEN HAVE A JOB.... I bet then they would think about treating customers better.

I don't have any idea what the other people are talking about. I have gone there plenty of times and it was always a pleasent experience. The people that work there are always very helpful and who can beat the brice for stuff. I've even sold my movies there, they gave me a good price. Really who thinks they are going to get rich from selling there movie's and games anywhere. I did get more then i expected to get! So Buybacks keep up the good work i will be back.

I went to Buybacks looking for Baby Einstein DVD's for my child, I stopped for a couple minutes and browsed the video game section, thinking maybe I'd bring my older daughter in to get a game sometime. After I couldn't find the Baby Einstein videos, I went to the desk to ask for help from 2 guys working. The guys gave me the attitude that I was interrupting their chitchat. When I asked about the DVD's I wanted, they both rolled their eyes and one of the goes, 'Pft, we don't carry THOSE kind of videos'. He was very snitty. As I left they were snickering and carrying on about my request. Needless to say I never took my older child in there to look for video games either. I won't be returning. Their staff is very rude.

If you wanr customer service go to best buy and pay $40 bux for what you can get at buybacks for $10 so i guess you all have the luxery of wasting $30 bux for someone to kiss you a** . It's about cheap prices if you don't like that than take your rich A** somewhere else.

well i work for the state so its not minimum wage. then again i don't judge people on the amount of money they make i dont think that says what kind of person you are, just saying i am not the type of person to buy something at bestbuy for 50 bux when i can get it at buybacks for 10 and if the employees dont give me there undivided attention and do not wipe my ass for me thats okay because i do not need my hand held to purchase a dvd. i just dumbed down my language the first time so all the ignorant people could understand but society is hopeless and lazy and i dont expect much from them. just hope you know a good deal when it hits you in the face. if you have money to pass it up please throw it away in my pocket instead. So if i am "retarded" for saving hard earned money so be it. i am full blown retard. me likey to savey the money durrrr

The word retarded makes the user sound ignorant

I have sold some of my dvds and cds a few times, sometimes im not impressed at allllll sometimes it is more than i expect, same with platos closet or any buisness of that nature. You have to cut out the middle man if you want the most money for your dvds. Bottom line..shop around...if you find it cheaper somewhere else buy it..if it is not the price to your liking when you sell..dont sell it...sell it in a yard sale or online. I agree somewhat that sometimes with better customer service comes higher priced item generally the employees are paid more bc the store makes more blah blah. A well paid employee makes a happier employee...would you want to deal with you for 7.25/hr ? Rudeness is always unacceptable the one behind the counter is paid to be there but too often do we forget the golden rule...treat other how you would like to be treated. Working retail at my first few jobs really made me wish sometimes i could give the customer a piece of MY mind...boy am i glad i never did...its always better to be the bigger person..especially when you are the one earning the paycheck..not too many young people think like this..

You're a stupid b!tch aren't you. You don't have to be a "rich a$$" as you put it, you poor piece of trash, to expect decent customer service.

I have little respect for this business as when I purchased from them (via Amazon), they were unethical and unprofessional. I purchased a cd and a week later a cd arrived but it was the wrong cd. I emailed them and they told me that they did not have the item that I ordered although it was listed as available thru Amazon (nice inventory system "BuyBacks". Now this is a little confusing, they did not have the cd that I ordered yet they sent me a cd anyways one that they unilaterally selected with no input from me. I guess this is their "Bait & Switch" method of making sales hoping that I would just forget about it and do nothing and they end up with more revenue.
Now even though THEY screwed up, they won't transfer my money back immediately instead they get there enjoyment of inconveniencing a customer by making them repackage for return, take the package to the post office, track the shipment back to them and track the refund back to me and what if it gets lost? I didn't sign up for all this inconvenience when I purchased from them.

If they were smart, which is a quality that they have yet to display, they would have sent my money back to me immediately (I say that only because they were the ones that screwed up and were unethical). Also since they have to pay the postage back to them, the smart action would be to avoid paying the postage again just tell the customer to keep the cd that they unilaterally selected for him. There were be very little cost to that, and you are avoiding another postage charge and most importantly you would prevent the customer from being inconvenienced for BuyBacks error which is why I say they are certainly not customer oriented.

As a result, myself, and all of my friends, will never make a purchase from this business (and I use that descriptor loosely). Everything could have worked out smoothly had that exercised the option that prevent me from being inconvenienced but since they did not in addition to being unethical and unprofessional, they are not very smart businessmen (or women whatever the case).

My recommendation would be to AVOID THIS PLACE AND IT'S MANAGEMENT.

I only called to inquire about something. A man answered the phone and I stated my name and started to ask a question, and he said sorry dude we are a business and hung up. I called back and he answered the phone what do you want, I tried to tell him, but he said go bug someone else and hung up.
