Hello citizens of Twiggs Co. Georgia. My family and I lived on "Yonders Farm" for about 6 mos., my wife and I have 6 children one of which was born on the farm. We were looking for a place to live communally and possibly buy land when I came across Yonders Farm on an intentional community website. I spoke with Yonder on the phone extensively and was impressed with his knowledge of the Bible. We decided to "check" the place out and once we got to know Yonder decided to stay. Our time on the farm consisted of fixing tractors, cultivating earth for a community garden, homeschooling our children, and I enjoyed many hours reasoning scripture with Yonder. We would still be on the farm if not for your overzealous sheriff. This man with his deputies and the DFAC (department of families and children) came to the farm one morning, in the words of officer Stokes and sheriff Mitchum, to take my children. This was happening because, in their own words, they did not agree with how we were living. After 2 hours the DFAC investigators felt there was no justification to remove my children. In fact they were impressed at what we were doing. I am fortunate in this respect because as I told sheriff Mitchum "you will have to shoot me in order to remove my children". I am an American citizen and as such am a FREE man. I do not have to fear unjust persecution nor as a FREE man do I have the cowardice to stand idly by while corrupt officials manipulate the system to achieve maligned goals. I was told by one of your elected officials that the situation with Yonder was complicated by the fact that when the new highway was built the Farm would be worth "millions". Living on such a personal basis with Yonder allows me to state beyond a shadow of a doubt that David Breedlove does not use any drugs, not even prescribed pharmaceuticals. Yonder is a kind man who has taken upon himself to live the life Jesus taught, to love one another. He has opened his home to countless people in an effort to help and comfort those less fortunate. Mentally ill and drug addicted can find a place to heal and become whole through this mans love. This man would not hesitate to help in any way he could any person in need. He is an asset to your community in ways many of you will never understand, but there are many who do. Please take the time to involve yourself and help to vindicate Yonder from this situation of hate and greed being perpetrated upon him.

There was a raid made on the mission offices at Yonder’s farm on April 13, 2006. The deputies searched the public area around the offices and supposedly found a small amount of marijuana in someone’s pocket, and they also claim to have found other small amounts in various places, and other things related to marijuana. They placed me only under arrest; for felony possession of marijuana and other contingent charges and took me to jail. I do not smoke anything, not even cigarettes. They did not search my residence or my cartel; and I was most certainly not in possession of anything at all.
They agreed to get the case dropped from the calendar if I would consent to and pass a hair follicle test, which I did at my own expense and presented it to my attorney. The case was dropped and I went on my way.
In July while I was in Wyoming the case was put back on the calendar and I was ordered to appear on July 29, which I could not do, but when I finally did get back to Jeffersonville I discovered that on July 22 more phony criminal charges had been brought against me in my absence—
I was living in a very cold country, had no income at all because my social security had been cut off due to the outstanding warrants for my arrest, and I found myself a fugitive, wanted by the FBI for unspeakable crimes that I was not guilty of. I called Judge David Brown who had always been as fair minded as any judge could be, and asked him to review the evidence, and he did, and ordered the charges to be dropped, but then the old drug related charges had been put back on the calendar and I was now a fugitive with a bench warrant for failure to appear in court.
I then called Judge Ken Fowler, another fair-minded judge who has the rare gift of knowing right from wrong, and he had the Superior court Judge Gillis call me back and agree to drop the bench warrant if I could appear in court on January 26, 2009. I told him this is an answer to prayer and I would most assuredly be there.
I was there, and he did drop the bench warrant as promised, but then the bondsman also went off my bond, kept the money and put me back in jail. I was expecting that I had to stay in jail until they decide to hear my case, but a neighbor put up his property for bond and got me out again, now I await trial again for the same phony three-year-old possession charge that was once dropped from the calendar after I proved my innocence. I feel that this is a case of double jeopardy.
On February 5 my attorney met with the assistant District Attorney to arrange for a plea bargain. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is where you plead guilty to a lesser crime that you didn’t do in order to avoid going to trial for a greater crime. The plea they arranged for me was to plead guilty to misdemeanor simple possession even though I was not in possession at all. The assistant DA told my attorney that she was okay with that but she said:“Let me go ask the sheriff.” The sheriff said “no”. He wants me to plead to a felony, he said; so that he will be able to enter the farm anytime he wants without going through the inconvenience of our civil rights. I suppose they can do this anyway, as they did when they first made the no-knock raid without showing me a warrant or behaving in any form of civilized manner. They acted just like what you see on TV.
What I would like to know now is: Is the prosecuting attorney subject to the whimsy of the sheriff?
One more question I would like to ask, as I am about to be tried in the Twiggs County Superior court. Has there ever been anyone in this county found not guilty by a jury? Please let me know.–David Breedlove

The Bible says:"to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free...and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house..." Isaiah 58:6&7.
There is no more Yonder's farm in Twiggs County, but the homeless, mentally ill, outcast poor you will have with you always. There is no place for them, except perhaps the county care home. Who will pick up the torch?
Many are crippled, useless, and are rejected by their own families. Many have obnoxious or crude habits, or are just confused. The reason that some are chronically homeless is that nobody wants them. They would be happy to have the roof of an
empty building over their heads or a camp outside of town where the cops won’t run them off.
They would like to feel protected. You want the police to protect you in your own home, and they want the same protection. Protection from the violence that they experience as they huddle under a plastic tarp or sheet of plywood through the long, terrifying night. Protection from the daily discrimination of the more affluent, the property owners, business people, and shoppers who are disturbed at the very sight of these worn out, grubby “bums.”
The don't need a homeless shelter, the city needs a shelter to shelter the homeless but they need a home until they can help themselves. They need a home in their own locality where they can go and feel as free and safe as you and I in our homes, or at least some place to focus on when they say; “I want to go home now.”
When you are tired and weary you want to go home. These people are tired and weary—all of them—I saw it in their faces, every one of them. I didn’t see anyone who was not tired and weary in the extreme. It is because they have no place to call home.
Do you have a home that can be shared? If you have a house that is empty let somebody have it. It can be derelict, unfit to live in by anyone but one who has no chance to buy or even rent a home. How many times have I heard it said,“Who would want to rent a house to them!
You can legally deed your unwanted house; property, empty lot or building to the homeless and send some homeless people over there to fix it up. Someone can move into a place they can call home—a home that you provided! You will never again have to worry about your unsafe dwelling and being cited to court because you have a place you can't fix. Just give it away and take the tax write off.
If you don’t have a place to give, but the Lord has blessed you with plenty, give of your means to assist these, the least of the brethren, in providing and remodeling homes for the homeless.
Dozens are out there, exposed to the elements, waiting and defenseless against the hostility that surrounds them. Many of them need God’s saving grace in their lives, but they have not seen anything but disdain, fear and loathing from otherwise good Christians.
Many more are just fallen on hard times and need a hand up; not to support them forever, just give them a hand, there will be plenty more to help after they are free of their need for you. It’s hard to get a job when you don’t have a car, even harder when you don’t have a home, a shower, a place to clean up or even get a good night’s sleep. Many of these “least of the brethren” are also the very last people someone would even want to hire.
Many of these brothers, sisters, and friends would be glad to work for free, for food, a place to clean up, or a place to lie down safe for once. Many of the homeless are helpless and can’t work but they need just as much, and sometimes much more than any of us who are healthy and well fed.
If you can't do anything to help, you can at least quit discriminating against the unfortunate bums, mentally ill, alcoholic, or drug addicts and remember--but for the grace of god, there goes you!

Yonder wasn't helping people by taking our money under false pretenses, and then throwing us out of our homes, with nothing, after years of investing all of our resources, building our homes, livelihoods, and community.
Yonder wasn't helping the alcoholics by drinking with them, nor was he helping the drug addicts by providing them with a place to use drugs.
Yonder first needs to get himself cleaned up, and then he can better understand how to be of real service to others.
I think that it's unfortunate that the judge didn't insist that Yonder enroll in a re-hab and require mandatory 12 step meeting attendance as a condition of not being locked up in jail.
#5 Jun 6, 2010
I am not an alcoholic and I am not a drug addict, therefore I can't qualify for re-hab Stone; but when you came to Yoner's farm you were not only an acloholic but a very noxious and vindictive person, and I fed you entirely all you ate, gave you a place to stay, and when you were ready you went to re-hab and quit drinking--kudos to you--but you are still noxious and malicious, and treat people mean who have helped you.
It would have done you no good to stay on the farm any longer, even though I didn't "kick you out" like you say, I wasn't even there when you left, I was off working somewhere. You did the farm no good, all you hard work was to aggrandize your self and no one else. You were a sore-head who could not get along with any neighbor and I could not help you there.

Yonder, where do you get this nonsense?
You don't feed people, You allowed me to starve... I begged for something to eat... It was winter, I'd just gotten off the road...
I fed anyone that asked, I had a huge garden, I didn't want anyone to have to starve like I did when I first got there.
And Yonder, you certainly drink like someone with drinking problems. Whether that makes you an alcoholic or an addict, is your decision, I'm certain that detox would be able to help you.
You aren't helping anyone by insisting that you didn't throw people out... I went down and talked to the judge, and the little piece of paper throwing me out quickly surfaced... Remember, I was also sent mean letters through the mail with your signature on them...
Where do you get all of this crazy nonsense that you keep saying about me?
I simply couldn't believe the way that you turned on everyone that trusted you...
We believed in the dream of community that you sold to us... We all trusted that the nasty stuff that came out of your mouth when you drank would take care of itself when you sobered up the next day.
None of us ever really believed the horrible things you said when you drank, but then you went and turned everyone out of the homes we built with our own resources while paying you for the privilege...
Go get help...
#7 May 6, 2011
You spend 6 years claiming that you didn't throw anybody out after throwing us out of our homes, and then complain about us holding grudges...
You're going to want to look at that when you go to detox. Every time you lie about us, you've made the problem worse.
It's not holding a grudge when you keep doing things that aggravate the situation.
It was by throwing me out of my home, and then telling everyone that I wasn't thrown out that got you hauled in front of the judge.
It was up to you to tell the judge the same thing that you'd been telling everyone else.
The problem woulda been solved! Ida moved back into my home, and stopped complaining on-line, trying to find someone who could talk sense into you.
When you threw everyone out that had invested their money, materials, labour into the community, and tried to build a decent community, and then put internet scammers into our homes, you created huge problems.
How could that possibly work out well?
It should have come as no surprise when people from all over the country called the sheriff and DEFACS, asking them to look into the situation out there!
I did everything I could think of to save the community!
Yonder, you were the trouble-maker out there. When you tell everyone a different story, and create conflicts, that is pretty much definitively creating trouble.
You've got to stop the lies!
It's up to you to turn over a new leaf, and get busy making it up to everyone that you've injured.

Stone, when you came to the farm I fed you every bite you ate, you got nothing on your own, you ate my food exclusively, and even fed it to the dogs. When I had to leave to go to work you stayed and consumed all the food in my pantry, only then did you get hungry, but you would still not buy food for yourself. You had no garden then, neither did you have one the following year. Your garden was never huge, not big enough to feed everyone for a single day, much less continually, year after year like I did at my own expense.
I was not in the business of throwing people out, otherwise you would have been the first obnoxious character to get rid of, especially when you fought with my son and would show up too early with loud and rude behavior.
You are lying about talking to the judge and a little piece of paper quickly surfaced. A judge by the name of Freeman some years ago did tell me that you inquired of him about how to take my land by adverse possession, and he said no.
You are lying about me sending you letters through the mail. I never sent you a letter good or bad, nice or mean, I just never wrote you a letter at all, I never was aware of where you were or what you were doing, and never wrote about your refusal to pay rent or help out in any way, but that was my fault, perhaps I was drinking too much to care who was helping out or paying rent
. I did myself and the entire farm a disservice by keeping you around to my regret, but most of the time I never thought about you if you didn’t get in my face about something. Really I wasn’t drinking, I was on psychotropic drugs that kept me foggy but not drinking, but that’s what you thought because you were too drunk to know anything either way. I was not the one talking nasty.
This “everyone” that got turned out of their homes, is in your imagination; there is no one else, and you didn’t “pay for the privilege,” neither can you find anyone else that paid for the privilege of building a home on Yonder’s farm.
None of us ever really believed the horrible things you said when you drank, but when you quit drinking you still said horrible things, about all the women that tried to be your friend, all their friends, and especially my son and me. Getting sober did not help you in the least to become a nicer person.
If you had stayed at the farm it would have been no different, the accusations and feelings of persecution were there before you left.
You wrote;”It was by throwing me out of my home, and then telling everyone that I wasn't thrown out that got you hauled in front of the judge”.
It was you and only you that brought charges of criminal trespass against me and my son. The judge dismissed the fake charges, as I had not gone down there and Andy was out of the state at the time, but gave you leave to get your things off my property..
, and then put internet scammers into our homes, There never has been any internet business activity on the farm, and no one has ever moved into the filthy house you left, not even Lilith, and there is no “our” as you are the only one who thinks you were kicked out. You should have been, and you probably believed that you were as you know you well deserved it, but unfortunately, I was not around to discuss it. I was told you ran off with Kudzu Dave’s wife, but I wasn’t there to object or tell you to leave. I did tell you to leave a few years earlier but you didn’t, and though it was my responsibility, I was too much of a push-over to insist.
You are lying again when you say “people from all over the country called the sheriff and DEFACS, asking them to look into the situation out there!” This is not true, again it was only you, no one else.
You did everything you could think of to disrupt the community and nothing to support, you were the trouble-maker out there. You've got to stop the lies!

I'm not lying about getting letters in the mail, I'm not lying about being unjustly thrown out.
While you've been fairly successful at getting evidence of your activities taken off-line by threatening my webhosts and google, it doesn't make any of my assertions inaccurate.
You did terrible things, and all these denials and attempts to turn it back on people who trusted you don't make it right.
Here's a letter from you telling me to get out:
Pretty disgusting letter....
We all trusted you...
thrown out at the courthouse:
Stop lying about what you did!!!
You took advantage of everyone who trusted you.
My house was repeatedly broken into... AFTER you decided to rob us of the efforts that we'd invested.
The judge asked whose name was down at the courthouse....
Not sure why it's legal for you to tell us that we were buying in,(Without registering our names on the deed), and then break into the houses that we build.
8 years of pretending that you didn't throw us out of our homes... Even with the evidence in front of you...
that's a pretty strong argument that you can NOT be trusted, that you don't seem to care about truth.
Come clean... get real!
#14 Oct 21, 2013
If anyone is interested in seeing evidence of the internet scammers, I'd be happy to show them... just meet me at the Macon library...
Not sure why Yonder would bother arguing about that, all he's doing is providing evidence of how broken the council process was out at the yonderfamily ranch.
It was up to Yonder to tell the judge that I wasn't thrown out. Claiming that I wasn't thrown out after the fact is absurdity.
The Judge didn't help Yonder by allowing him to throw me out.
After Yonder threw out all the valuable members, those who'd invested labour, materials, and money in the community... the town had no reason not to get rid of Yonder.
It's very simple...
You don't build community by throwing people out of the homes they built.
I'm not sure why Yonder insists that nobody moved in at my house either...
I was in touch with 'Spirit' while he was down there living in one of the structures I built.
All this nonsense coming from Yonder is typical of what the permanent members had to take off of him while living there... Yonder's attitude ran off more prospective members than Woody's did.
The hard-working members who lived at the Yonderfamily community in the homes they built were all generous and long-suffering....
And when Yonder took our homes hostage, and dictated new conditions to us with the threat of eviction if we refused to go along with that nonsense... He doomed the community...

Wow, this blows my mind to see this. I've only been to Yonder's Farm 1 time in my entire life. That was in the fall of 1989, when I was a student at Auburn University. Some of us "free spirited" students heard about Yonder's place, and decided to make the trip. I clearly remember this dude they called Stone. There were many other's out there, with colorful names, such as "Shaggy" and "Freebird."
Stone, and his female companion lived in a shack, with no electricity. The "garden" so to speak, back then, was just 2 rows of cabbage.
I got to meet Yonder, and upon leaving there, was under the impression that he was a decent fellow. There was an old burned out school bus - literally had burned to a crisp. Different camps around the property - I heard it was about 100 acres. Some gypsies, homeless, a hodgepodge, but Yonder welcomed everyone.

I spent about a year on the farm down below the heart pit. I met great people there like Soda Pop, Joe, Carmel and their kids, and peanut, not to mention Yonder. David Breedlove always treated me like family from day one. On the farm I felt the love and caring of one big family that I hadn't felt in years. Sure occasionally a malcontent would come through, given a chance and sometimes told to leave when they could not adapt to a peaceful and harmonious life. I never saw David or his son Andy screw anyone over. Leave this man and that community alone.

Palmer... What did people call you?
I recognize the people that you mention, but I need a better hint as to who you are.
If you weren't there when Yonder turned on us, then, you can be excused for not believing it.
None of us could believe it either!
We were all shocked that he could do that after 15 years of community...
And yet, it happened.... And most people still can't believe it... I've asked the community members who were there to speak up about their experience, and... They can't seem to accept what Yonder did, they all seem to be under the delusion that presently he will turn back into the person he always represented himself to be, and we'll all be living in our homes again.
Personally, I can't see that happening without everybody telling their experience, and letting him know that he can't scam people and then pretend that it never happened.
#19 Jul 17, 2017
Yonder's still working the "help the poor" angle.
I continue to believe that yonder would still be in Jeffersonville if he hadn't made the decision to rob everybody that trusted him....
Throw people out of the homes they built with their own materials, tools, labour.... While paying money that they thought was buying a share of the property... Probably should expect that to bite you in the butt.

Yonder gave me love and vision on my search for peace and love back in1998. Since then I have never forgot this simple yet highly intelligent man. Yes there were folks there maybe running from the law... who knows. All I do know is we all pitched in and fed one another and played guitar by bonfires. No drugs! No drama... Yonder I am now opening my own commune with the dream of Free love and hope. No one has ever showed me more respect than this man!
