DORIS SPILLERS WORRELL OF DOUGLAS GA WAS VIOLENTLY MURDERED ON SEPT 20 2006 WHILE WORKING AT THEIR FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS, JON'S SPORTS PARK. TWO MEN WERE ARRESTED RECENTLY AND CHARGED WITH "CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER". THEY WERE HELD WITHOUT BOND AT THE REQUEST OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN CHARGE OF THE CASE. THESE SAME TWO MEN WERE RECENTLY RELEASED ON BOND, WITHOUT A FORMAL HEARING, AT THE REQUEST OF THE DA'S OFFICE. THE ONLY WITNESS PRESENT AT THE SCENE WAS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN, WHO WAS DEPORTED BY ICE AND IS NOW BACK IN HER NATIVE COUNTRY, VENEZUELA. SHE LEFT WITHOUT EVER MAKING A STATEMENT TO ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE AMERICA IS KNOWN FOR?
THE STATE OF GA ISSUED THE ONLY REWARD OFFERED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.

I have read about this case on other forums. Why hasn't the reward been increased? I hear the case is almost two years old. Can't believe it has been going on that long, without an arrest other than the two charged with "conspiracy to commit murder". It's hard to believe that the illegal alien was deported when she clearly has knowledge needed to prosecute. I understand why you are questioning justice in America! Good luck!

The GBI say they know who did it. Folks in Douglas say if you want to commit the perfect murder (one that you won't dare get arrested for) go to Douglas, make some friends with the powers that be and that's all there is to it. There are many, many unsolved murders in Coffee County. The Tara Grinstead case happened very close by. There are more that aren't publicized so much. I wish FBI would get involved, they desperately need to.
