I agree with madd. Putting a body shop in a residential area isn't progress. There's no other commercial property in the area. That's called stupid. If the guy wants to start a body shop he should buy a piece of property that is zoned for it in an area that is suited for it where there are like commercial structures.

yeah i was just thinking that. Isn't there two car lots, some storage units and a winery all within a stones throw of this new station? I was actually deer hunting in the area last weekend and drove past there on 245 in the dark, and was impressed with how nice the new station looked all lit up.

Went the perkins had a body shop they were told they couldnt legally have a businness unless they had three acres of land. The old fire house is only on an acre of ground. So why is it different now doesnt make any real sence now does it Sounds like the rules our different for some people but thats our great and honest leader of bullitt county.

Why is the SEBFD engaged in rezoning thier storage / err excess property. They have 2 pieces of property that are no longer used. these should go up for public auction.Afterall it was the peoples taxes that built them. I believe the new stations are nice but I also believe that with the "chief" acting as the general contractor that theys some hanky panky goin on!!!!
you never see public bids being sought after. this makes it look like it's the good ole boy system at its Finest .

So I heard that fiscal Court rejected the rezonibg prop. so NOW, WE as Citzens in this community should demand that these properties be put up for public auction as is,as zoned and your personel property removed!
Thanks Citzen C

i have an idea. Lets let it be used for a fire dept. insted of letting dumbass Julious run every single one of his Janitors out of the station on 245. Why not let this be used for the firefighters close to it so the people in the area get a fast and more appropriate response to there emergency. While on that note why not get rid of Julious who is more worried about everything else than protecting his community. Put a chief in that other dept would actually work with... only people losing out with him or the lose of the building are the community and the Firefighters that have to deal with him.... FREE SEBFD
