Woman charged after infant found locked in parked car at Jeffersontown store
A Shelbyville woman is due in Jefferson district court Jan. 20 to answer charges that she put her infant son in danger by leaving him inside her parked car for a half-hour or more while she went shopping Tuesday afternoon.

Wow. On another site, posters were saying that this woman should be given a break, she didn't kill the child. They are saying she made a mistake, leave her alone. Well, I am sorry and especially as a parent myself, it should be natural in born behavior to take your child with you to go into a store, especially since it was 24 degrees outside. I guess I can't understand how any mother could just leave the child they love, unattended in a car, even if they lock the doors. How selfish and uncaring. She was more concerned about shopping than her own child.
