Mr. McConnell I wonder who in Kentucky you're actually meeting. I live in Kentucky and I support health reform. Oh, I guess I don't count, I'm not one of your rich constituents? When I hear you speak on television, I always say, "he's not speaking for me". You actually make me feel like you're just against anything our President is for. You do not speak for all Kentuckians. Talk to the other half of your populations and represent us too....SIR.

I don't understand, Diana. He didn't say there's not one person living in Kentucky who supports health reform. He said he's not met one person in Kentucky who supports it.

If you've met him and expressed that opinion to him, then you're right to be upset about him not listening to you. If you haven't met him and expressed your opinion, then why do you think you don't count? He doesn't know about you, does he?

I don't like Mitch but I do not support this scam of a healthcare bill.

People need to realize exactly what they are supporting, the healthcare bill is another agenda of Obama to sink America into the destructive bankrupt he is planning.

Please elaborate on this plan if you can and the reasoning he has for it. Otherwise, stfu!

Have you ever met or known a politician that truly puts the thoughts of those they represent out first? I gurantee u this. If George Bush had come up with this plan the McConnell would be jumping all over its bandwagon, and Dingy Harry reid would be doing all he could to destroy it. No one, but no one elected to high profile elected office cares about u and i. Not Obama, Not Bush, Not Clinton.and so on and so on... NONE

I don't have to shut anything up.

I would elaborate but since reading a few words of your post, you would not be able to decipher it.

Grow up, please, we need more adults in this world.

Good post Richard. Most of the incumbents need to go, many are totally out of touch with who they are really supposed to be working for. Until we implement term limits and limit the amount of campaign dollars allowed to be spent, we are always going to get more of the same....

Lets see now. You were the first to respond to my comments with what..........mouthing off with cursing.

Again, grow up.

Again, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that no matter how you look at it, someone will be paying for others to receive free healthcare by INCREASED TAXES.

SOMEONE WILL PAY REGARDLESS.

The ones to pay will be mostly middle class working americans.

The ones to receive free will be welfare moms, lazy people who do not want to work both female and male--all ages, illegal immigrants, people who would rather pay for their expensive car payments than pay for healthcare because they know they can not be turned down at the ER for aid, etc.

We are paying for them now but this scam is to tax more to pay for the deficit due to free healthcare. Soc. Security and Medicare are broke, both government ran---how do you think this healthcare will pan out?

Also, did you know this is nothing more than the next step in socialism, if you don't it is because you could care less, no skin off of your behind, right?

I'm not sure why all these louisville folks are posting on BG topix but I have met Senator McConnell and support him 100% on his opposition to President Obama's, as presented by Nancy Pelosi, healthcare plan.

McConnell certainly speaks for me and I love it. President Obama is spending money that even our grandchildren will be lucky to pay back and continues with this crazy plan. He is lying when he says you will be permitted to keep your current plan if you like it. No one will be able to afford private insurance and all of us will be on the government plan. Many private companies will go bankrupt since private companies cannot go billions or trillions in the red like our federal government.

Yes, GO MITCH!

I will try to say this that the house bill beats the senate bill all to heck.It opens the possibility of buying your insurance on a global manner at which the elite already has the luxury.Which understanding your policy and working out the details are to early for me to see.The cost will be more affordable and ppl who are high risk cannot be cut for wall street lawyers to push profit margins.Which if it going to be a cost to the citizen why aren't ken tucks boys assuring us of price caps instead of relieving the employer who is already in a tax bracket above his workers.why add to a common persons burden. We need to get on board so we can participate in the best language to make it a clear cut law without cutting our constitution.Call your reps email and insist on this.

You're excused, vic. But I don't understand why you think emailing someone named "mister McCONALL" would somehow magically get your message to Senator McConnell.
