It seems to have been. Not sure what happened I passed thru there and the cops were doing their investigation. I hope he is ok also. Not been the first pedestrian hit in the city, one also at Taco Bell over a year ago. People need to "SLOW DOWN and WATCH" for our elders (not saying who ever hit him was speeding that was just a statement) because I see several during the summer walking and ridin there scooters. I hope he is ok also. Prayers for him and his family.

It was Bill. He rides the electric wheelchair, around town. Heard he was still alive, when they took him to hospital. The hit knocked him out of his chair, he had to have hit the pavement hard.

from what I understand the light was green and the vehicle that hit him tried to stop but couldn't. the person was not charged wiht anything because he pulled out into the street in front of them. I hate this has happened yet again, as it seems to be on the news alot here lately. Just a reminder that life can change in the blink of an eye. Prayers are going up for all involved and their families. I just read where someone posted he had passed away. Prayers going up for his family and the person that hit him. Even tho it seems to be an accident I'm sure it will be hard to deal with.

Sorry, that was the information we were told at church Wednesday night. Still, we need to pray for him and the family.

The person that hit Bill was an elderly lady. You know that person will not be able to shake what happened ever. Sad situation, but at least 'Wild Bill' is still alive.

You dipshit, she was 28 years old. People who know nothing about things need to stay the hell off here.

I seen that one coming. He crosses on the green light but it don't stay green long enough for the slow speed of the chair.I don't know how many times I've sat at a redlight while he crossed, thinking he's gonna get hit one day.I believe in peoples freedom of movement but I've wondered about the safety aspect of those chairs on publiuc roadways.Hope he recovers well.

Look dumbass, stop with the name calling. It shows how stupid you are.

When I drove by, there was an older lady looking over him crying. I assumed that was the person that hit him. If it was not, then fine. But that was the way it appeared to me.

Wild bill is a danger to himself and others, Freedom of movement or not i myself have had to stop in the middle of an intersection and almost get rearended because of his freedom. The police should step up and get him off the street. I understand he has rights but his rights should not endanger others.
