I have bought several cars from Tarr and they have always been upfront and honest. Just keep in mind though, that they are in business to make money and you need to do your own research. Since they have a mechanic and garage on the premises ask them for 6 months to one year of oil changes for your car. It will cost you to have that type of maintenance done but car dealerships can do it for next to nothing and if it "seals the deal" they will most likely go for it. I have always bought used cars from them because I know that a new car looses a lot of its value as soon as you drive it off the lot. Tarr offers good warranties on used cars though so make sure you get a car that has one. Congratulations!! Buying a new car is so exciting!!

My wife and I have been car shopping for two weeks. She refuses to allow me to go into Tarr because of their commercials.

People made fun of poor old Lonas with his pants hiked up to near his chest and proclaimining "See us before you buy or we both lose money."

The ads they are running now are 100 times, no 1000 times worse. I am embarrassed for these guys. There is no way I could go in there and buy a vehicle. I would not be able to concentrate on the deal.

Bought a used car there a few weeks ago and the staff is all very great! They are salesmen and have to make money but were more than willing to work with me when it came to negotiating the final price. I sold cars before for Ford and I know all the tricks in getting more money put on deals but there wasn't anything hidden in the paperwork or on the deal itself. I was allowed to look the vehicle over and have it checked out before even getting into negotiating the price. Not sure what the guy is talking about with the EGR valve going bad and contacting the previous owner because legally, dealers are not allowed to release that kind of information to a customer on who the previous owner was due to privacy. I'll be going back to Tarr for ALL of my future purchases and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a good car.

I also worked at the Ford dealership. There is a waiver that Tarr and other dealers including the Ford dealership have the customer sign that says it's okay if prospective buyers contact them. The guys at Tarr now had NOTHING to do with the dealership ten years ago. They are a bunch of great guys but my wife said she absolutely would not buy a car in there because of their commercials. The might ought to rethink that nonsense.

Have you seen the commercials? Do you really think any woman would screw those guys after that? Please. You must be the idiot with the turtle. It took me a while to decipher your post. Please try to use better punctuation and spell words right.
