Sounds quite stupid to me. But hopefully I am wrong and they will make millions on this silly assed named business in a down economy. If I were rich from all my big ideas, I would be somewhere else, paying someone to write stupid shit on topix for me. How is that for an honest response ?

Seems ok, kids like it. The owners /employees ate nice to the kids who skate across road at the church. Unlike other buisnesses around here. So thanks cereal shack for being kind in a cruel stupid stuck up town who thinks it s major city but has nothing for our kids to do.

I've been to cereal bars before but the ones I've been too have more options like mixing cereal. Different toppings and more options. I think they need to be more creative

Looks kind of ghetto to me. If these businesses can't even afford to put nice signs up, how can they afford to even run a business. Throwing up some cheap banners looks really stupid. Not the right approach if you ask me. This does nothing to help improve that area. It looks like they have gotten decorating advice from the Book Nook! I think they need to put a little more effort if they want to stay in business longer than a couple of months.

I think these guys are missing the whole point of a cereal bar. I have been to other ones in larger cities, and its not about serving plain old cereal from a box. These other places have fresh fruit and ice cream combinations and gourmet coffee. NOT just boxes of cereal!!! Seems a little fishy to me.

Carson-Newman kids run this place as a business venture. The business funds its self. I think it is more of a teaching tool in business and economics than anything. Gives these students a chance. Geez!

These are not CN students. The CN students are running the other place. the Creek something or other, not the cereal shack.

Carson Newman students are running The Creek which is a few buildings up from the Cereal Shack. The Cereal Shack is ran by two brothers.

Two brothers decide to open a cereal shack a few buildings away from their only competition. And the competition has no apparent need to succeed ?
I'm going to revise my first impression of stupid to real stupid. Did they get stimulis money or what?

Looks like a couple of kids trying to play store in there. I don't think this is the way to start a new business. They need to put in a little more work or they will probably be closed down in a couple of months. Wish them luck, but it takes more to start a business than throwing a banner over the door and pouring cereal out of a box.

I think people would respond a whole lot better if the place didn't look so creepy. It looks like a gay bar with some crazy cheap sign barely hanging on over the door.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Capricorn

If you need to get someone organized, this is the day to do it. You'll sort things out without sounding bossy or patronizing, and you'll also get co-operation instead of resistance. It's a good day for having a serious chat with a child, perhaps because you need to explain something and want to make sure you do it properly, in a way that doesn't create confusion or fear.
