Why has Governor Nixon and the legislators not taken a pay cut!

It is time they live by example does the governor think we forget that he not only gets a salary, but free housing at our expense.

Lets be fair and stop putting people out of work are we not going to just end up paying them anyway through unemployment.

We also face the issue that once we get the economy turned around that they state will start filling some of the jobs. Will those let go available for rehire or will we be forces to find individuals, who will need to be trained, which only adds to the cost?

It seems Nixon is as bad governor as he was attorney general. I tried to warn others about this when I heard he would only come around his own party when they had $10,000 plus donors at events.

Is there anyone who can tell us what good he ever did for the state? Okay maybe the do not call list, but other then that he is just full of hot air that is going to cost Missouri in the end.

Just announced this morning: State revenues declined another 14% in October. Budget was based on annual decline of 3%.

You can bet your bippie that another 500 state employees will be RIF'ed by Thanksgiving.

The bloodshed continues, but that is OK because it will help prepare us for the REAL BLOODBATH in 2012 when we have to do it without the $4 billion in stimulus dollars.

It ain't near over, folks.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
