First, you're right. I meant to type 'prescribed'. Secondly, you know, without utilizing a search engine, that the president has halted deportations. This constitutes not enforcing federal law. Why be evasive about it? Be proud of your hypocrisy.
Let's be a little more specific. Obama has halted deportation of young immigrants, who were brought here illegally as kids, when they had no say in the matter. Most of them have been here most of their lives. To uproot and deport them now would be an act of senseless cruelty.
Perhaps the use of a search engine would clarify this for you.

So you admit that he has prevented legal deportations. This is violation of federal law. Which part don't you understand?

The part that passes for your brain.

Look, there are legal technicalities, and there is justice. I expect the law to be changed sometime soon to accomodate compassionate justice.

But I find it interesting that so many on your side are suddenly so feverishly and inflexibly attached to the letter of the law, when it comes to undocumented immigrants. Yet so many of you are silent when it comes to such matters as Republican efforts to prevent certain citizens from exercising their vote, or denying the right to marriage by same-sex couples, or denying women their legal right to abortion, or denying the right of children of illegals born here their citizenship as protected by our Constitution.

Yet when it comes to illegal immigration, you are so vehemently devoted to the "law". Something smells fishy here, and it ain't fish.

Okay, let's go through this slowly. The only 'citizens' that have been prevented from voting are those that have lost their votes, i.e. felons, etc. The right to marry a person of the opposite sex is available to all citizens. The 'right' to an abortion is a touchy subject for both sides and I will not address it. No one, I repeat, no one is trying to rescind citizenship for children born on American soil.
Your 'points' have been debbunked and have nothing to do with the president's refusal to enforce federal immigration law. What other issues do you have in defense of the president's refusal to enforce federal law and your hypocrisy?

Apart from the abortion issue, on which I too have mixed feelings, you and I are far apart on the other issues.

-During the past presidential election, Republicans in many states made concerted efforts to reduce the vote among minorities. This was major news. I'm thankful that it backfired.

- On the question of who may marry whom, the Constitution says nothing about marriage having to be between a man and a woman. I believe DOMA is unconstitutional and will soon be overturned. There should be no law restricting basic human rights.

- On the matter of citizenship for those born here, I can only ask where you've been. There are those who want to go so far as to re-word the 14th amendment, to exclude children born here whose parents came here illegally. These revisionists, who usually insist that the Constitution must be followed word for word, appear not to like these particular words.

Finally, your closing condescending remarks crystallize our differences. You insist on rigidly sticking to the letter of the law, for peculiarly impassioned reasons, while I'm more concerned with the inhumanity involved.
If you can call me a hypocrite, I can call you a sociopath.

Feud? I don't feud with knuckledraggers. I just toy with them for my own amusement. Now heel!

Heel? No can do. One of my feet is on the ground, and the other foot is in your ass. Try again, Ike!

Does the 2nd amendment give me the 'right' to set claymoor mines(I've been trained) at the end of my driveway to stop the gas thieves? I would also like a small tactical nuke (just a kiloton or so) for the next time some one smashes my rural area mailbox. The constitution says I have the right to bear arms. When and if I ever catch them, I don't feel the need to shoot them I would beat the piss of them though.

If the 2nd Amendment gave the right to bear ordnance you may be able to try those things.

In the mean time try a locking gas cap and motion lights. If you know someone that welds make a steel mailbox. Bury the post about 4 feet in the ground fill the pole with concrete and weld the box on the top. Mailbox smashing strangely stops.

No, but if someone is on your property stealing the gas, you can detain them until the police arrive, and shoot them if they try to get away. You have property rights that include holding Obama's needy greedy if they are on your property stealing gas.

You are very confused. Too bad the govt made you into a veteran.

America is supposed to be a FREE country, but no person is ever free to murder a person who smashed your mail box UNLESS their is a pattern of repeated vandalism. Dummy, a claymore mine could harm bystanders, same for a nuke. Did the army teach you to nuke a single or handful of enemy troops (rather than shoot them)?

The 2nd amendment doesn't allow anyone the right to rob, rape, or murder people; it allows us to stop robbing, raping, and murdering.

The antigun nut/pacifist is stupid AND dangerous.
