Authorities said yesterday that a 15-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 9-year-old Missouri girl, whose body was found in the woods two days after she went missing.

I'm wonderin' if Elizabeth's playmate (the 15 y/o's little sister), is the one who alerted LE? Poor kid, she has to mourn the loss of a friend, feel unnecessary shame in public, because of what her sister did, and feel the loss of her sister too. That's a lot for a little kid to deal with :(

God help us all! This country needs to take back it's children. We may not know who they are, anymore, but the da*n government sure as H3ll doesn't know them, either. We can't have a free hand to punish them as we see fit...but we can da*n sure be blamed/held accountable when they start going of the path.

We either work our a** off to get them the basic's 'n some frills, or we work just enough to put pasta (cheap, not healthy foods) on the table, pay some of the bills and buy them clothing they can be ashamed to be seen in. Then the "experts" add their 2 cents at the trial, saying we gave them too much, or we gave them too little. Parents are da*ned if we do...yadda yadda.

This monster has been thinking about killing for quite awhile. I find it hard to believe that no authority figure ever noticed something wrong with this monster prior to this. I don't think it's possible that there were no obvious warning signs.

There were warning signs, trust me. The thing is, no one, to include you, or I, ever expects someone they know, much less THEIR KID, to be capable of violence, to the point of murder...premeditated, "accidental", or any other descriptive way.

How many times have you been angry with someone, and stated you'd like to kill them? I know I've done it, although I've never seen that phrase as anything more than a phrase angry folks use.

Parents/grandparents, etc don't see "monsters". They see tiny newborns, someone taking their first step, losing their first tooth, excited over Santa, catchin' fireflie's on a summer night, etc. I can't imagine how her parents, grandparents, and the rest of the fam 'n friends are dealing with this right now.

Are you reading the right page?Her name and her brothers are on the video.It says her hobbies are killing people and cutting.Her friends are saying she did it on thier myspace pages,they know her.Her best friend that had moved to Washington has pics of her on her myspace page and asking her why she did it and that she loves her.There are pics of her on the internet,her friends pages,her twitter,facebook,myspace,she has an a/c on "my yearbook",that's her.

At the end of some of the videos, it says her name. She is also shown in one of the videos.

Has anyone checked out missing persons/not found, that may have been hurt/killed by this AB since she had these disturbing comments about killing people/cutting that were made 1 to 2 years ago. Is this her first kill or is it my suspious mind overacting. Of course, not saying she has, just throwing this out. I hope not and this is jmo.
It's really sad she has been making these comments and no one seemed to care or shut her odd behavors out or did they know and not sek her some help. I understand her gps were not exactly poor and could have afforded help for her. Where was AB's mother. I know her father is in jail.

I wondered the same thing. I was trying to view if there were any children missing around St. Martins or not. I can't believe a child is capable of doing this to another child. It seems like one of her friends knew that she had psychological issues but, they chose not to report it.

i am a child of 14, nothing on her youtube would have led me to believe she was a killer, some of you may say i'm just a child what do i know but even though it said her hobbies were killing and cutting i would just have thought it was a joke.....

I remember being younger nad not having to worry about walking to school alone or drugs in my trick or treating candy.
I'm only 24 so it wasn't that long ago.

Things have gone so downhill in that short time frame.

I think it all goes back to a childs home life and background. These days alot of parents dont take their kids to church or practice any kind of spirituality. Parents today dont teach their children self discipline or self control, children are growing up without moral values. As human nature has it they seek for some thing that will ground them, and there are alot of evil substitutes out there for them to find and embrace. BeWare young parents!
