Instead New Orleans officials will probably use taxpayer money to hire contractors so they can get kickbacks. It is just politics as usual down there. Hopefully Jindal can clean out some of the deadwood in New Orleans local government by shining the light on their corruption.

C-Ray wants them to stay away until election time... or they can vote via absentee ballot. That's all he cares about.

I don't have any problems with good hard working people coming up here as an evacuee. What ticks me off are the ones who come up here for the free ride and complain, tear things apart and then complain some more. I like the cajun people. They are a lively people. There were evacuees in shreveport complaining that the soap the hotels donated was not the type of soap these people used. Then when the food arrived they didn't like that either. Those are the ones I wish would not come back up here to north louisiana. They are the ones who make it hard for others who are just wanting a place to stay until they can go home.
