Hi, I live in Grove.
It's a nice town, not to small, but to big...
But there is not much entertainment around here, unless you want to go out on the lake or go to the movies, but that gets old.

Hi! I grew up in Jay, which is just south of Grove. I love to go back and visit. It has really grown over the last several years. I would love to move back to that area. Basically, if you like the convenience of a city but the size of a small town, Grove would be a great place to live. It also is a very nice area to raise children. I hope to move back to the Grand Lake area soon myself.

In the town I live in now we don't have any of that, not even a movie theater. Really boring here and nothing for the kids to do.It has to be better than the town I live in.

I guess the most important question is --are the people nice? How is it being new to the community?

Grove is located in the most corrupt county of Oklahoma. The judges and lawyers are all for sale and the Police Department is under the thumb of the Mayor and City managers, they and their families are off limits. The Religious piously condem the casino but blatently stick their head in the sand when it comes to the drugs and alcohol abuse which does as much or more damage to families in their fair city. If you have money move to Grove because you can buy your way out of anything and pay the police to look the other way.

ok yea i just moved from grove to texas. grove is a really good town and i really liked it.. but if yer still in school or u have kids in school, u might wanna wait until graduation because the drama level there is so high its hard to focus on yer work. and all the kids get kinda (U KNOW) around 8th grade. so if u have young kids, be sure to get them in with the right crowd, kuz not many good kids in mid school, stay good for highschool.

I lived and worked in Grove for years. I moved to Vinita a few yrs ago. So far, I like Vinita MUCH better. The people here are so much nicer & down to earth. If you have a lot of money and a 'the world owes me' attitude, you will fit right in.
