I caught a puke trying to break into my car one time and I promptly introduced him to the steel plate inside my right forearm! As if that weren't enough I tapped my boot on the pavement to load it up and then I kicked the crap out of him. He won't bother anyone's car ever again, thanks to the Colonel.

Sincerely,
Colonel Buck Robley

Dear arsonist,

You know, you may not like the police and you may feel better by destroying a cruiser as a symbol of "the man", but the only thing you accomplished is costing the taxpayer a lot of money. You really didn't achieve anything by this act, and the fire could have spread, causing a lot more trouble than just burning up a cop car. Not to mention what can happen if you are caught. If you have a grudge against the person, take it to that person.

Colonel Buck,
I think you're yellow, but I think perhaps it is a case of inexplicable-rage induced jaundice. Have you ever seen "Death Wish 3"? You and Charles Bronson should have hung out, but alas he is dead.
Truly, intently, deeply,
Lieutenant Jack Nasty

Mr/Ms Coaters.....
Police Chargers aren't your stock Dodge Chargers. Duh. Plus, I'm sure it was filled with expensive Cop computer stuff. Maybe you could think before you write?

It wasn't just a dodge charger. Think about the computer equipment inside it and all the extra stuff that is required on a patrol car. I was suprised that the cost wasn't more when you think about everything. I'm glad noone was hurt was this act of violence.

So much for the theory that taking a police car home makes the neighborhood safer.
Especially when you consider the cop inside isnt paying attention to what's going on outside.

Even in Tulsa people break into TPD cars to steal guns, right under bright "security" lights or even in broad daylight.

Me too,we can't have this kind of foolishness.....what kind of society would this be if there were no respect for the law!!!! People would be kicking doors in other folks houses just taking what they want....running rampant, stabbing people, and carjacking folks at gunpoint! Vandalizing a police car is where it all starts....from there they get on drugs, start gangs, rob convenience stores, and who knows what else! I've got a good idea, lets just make them pay for the car!!!!!

OK, I have approved a dodge charger for a police vehicle recently. The State gets them for roughly $22,000. When you deck it out with everything, such as the lights, sirens, video camera, radar gun, computer equipment, and the cage, you can imagine that it becomes a very valuable vehicle. I hope they catch the person that did this. This is very sad!

The Trooper's cruiser is their office. Troopers spend their whole day in these units therefore it has to have everything they need at all times. Everything they need to keep YOU and I safe. These men are not just pencil pusher ticker givers. I know these men in this county personally and they go above and beyond doing their job and whom ever did this WILL be caught. The person that did this will be so proud they are going to brag and will get to answer for what they did.

Just out of curiousity. Who the **** do you think you are? You get the privilege of going to bed at some point in time during a 24hour period. Police Officers, Troopers and Sheriff's Deputies are people too. They have to sleep at some point and time. The real problem is that everybody wants to complain about all the crime, yet they do not want to pay to put more officers on the street. Law Enforcemnt cant be everywhere at the same time.

Consider the area that this happened. Also you people complaining about the type of car they drive just hope you don't need one in a hurry if they are driving a tuna can. They need all the help they can get, car, guns, radar and protective clothing. This world aint gettin no nicer and will be worse if the illegals are not contained. Thanks to all troopers and military people that protect MY freedom.

You have too keep in mind all of the extra equipment patrol cars have. Radar, navigation, laptop, radio, emergency lights etc. all cost alot of $$$

Was it an act of violence if nobody but a car was hurt?:P

Does anyone remember the officer who was going down the road and the guy threw his shirt at the officer? A lot of people thought that the officer was too hard on the "little bad man" showing his attitude. Its just a matter of time that it goes from throwing a shirt to throwing bricks and starting fires. duh!
And this is an act of violence towards my wallet.
