According to the bible when god showed up everything in the universe was already here. All he did was separate the materials and create life on this planet, which goes against what most religious people believe when they say he created everything. I believe he isn't real and everything evolved into what it is now. There are alot of beliefs about how matter was created. I think it was spontaneous. It could be we live inside a black hole inside a black hole inside another black hole. It has been proven recently that material can be created from nothing, so maybe that is the case. At any rate, all the material in the universe when ran backwards in time came from a point of nothing, hence the expansion. No god or creator is needed to explain how this happened, besides, if there was nothing before then he couldn't have existed to create anything.

You only give "narrow" reasoning, and you never answer a question. There is NOTHING you could tell me, that I haven't heard before. I asked how you can LOGICALLY disclaim a Creator but believe in aliens. No answer. Yes, there were witnesses to Jesus' miracles...why do you think so many came to believe? If there is a Creator, he would be an alien, right? Tell me what you know about conscious thought, Ezekiel's wheel...and the "expansion" you only speak of as a matter for existence is only a mere point in our creation. This universe was DESIGNED for our(maybe others) existence. It is unreasonable and stupid to think we are all an excellently designed accident. The equations of us being here are incomprehensible.

So he was half alien. Nothing very special about that. There are alot of stories of that happening. It doesn't mean there was anything divine about him. Just another hybrid.

Not really. Evolution explains it very well. No creation in my opinion. Ezekiel's wheel within a wheel was probably a space craft from another planet.

Evolution hasn't been proven, either. Just ANOTHER THEORY trying to explain our Creator's divine work. Anything in existence has to be created. Explain conscious thought to me then. That's what scientists are trying to determine ...there had to be thought before time (which is space) BEFORE subatomic atoms, gases, etc.) The "expansion" theory is outdated....get up to speed

I don't base my feelings/beliefs on the Bible. I base mine on intuition and science.

I happen to agree. Just a bunch of meaningless thrown together stories that don't identify with reality.

Then you should know better than to believe in creation. Before time and space there would not have been any being here to create anything. I mean an eternal being that one day decided to create everything? Come on, that is insane! How would this eternal being create itself? Nothing is eternal. Even the universe will someday grow cold and die when all the stars burn out. Lights out the party is over.

There was nothing before time and space, the expansion. Our ancestors created god, not the other way around. Even the universe itself has evolved since it first expanded. The stars are what created us and the planets we see, and they sustain our life. No god or creator is needed to explain any of it. Religion is just a crutch for people to lean on to not accept responsibility for their own lives.

Agnostic, atheism, Christianity, harikrishna, or whatever are all a choice for a man to feel comfortable. You'll never change one another's point of view, and honestly if you're more worried bout what religion is the "right" spiritual outlook then that explains a lot about ones personality when it comes to survival. I have spiritual views of my own, and even though I use to be an enraged irrational close minded atheist, I learned that an athiest or an agnostic are just scared of what the world have to offer. Not even the most brilliant scientist who you may think are "athiest." are not god free. If you don't agree with the played out messiah story, then do your research and see how many (20k years older than Christianity) share the same story about Lucifer or a messiah dying for the sins of man. But fuck the complicated shit and just choose what's right for you and learn to co-exist. Watch the documentary kymatica.

I don't believe any religion is right. I don't mean to argue, only stating facts. Go back a little further. 50,000 years to the Sumerian times. Sure they have a creation theory, but it is a thoery that beings came here to mine for material and didn't want to do the labor, so they developed humans to do it for them. There are always stories about creation, good and evil, or gods and devils. But they are all just stories invented by people.

I remember when i was in sunday school, about 6 or 7 years old. I asked the teacher how the mountains and valleys were formed. They told me god reached down and formed the valleys with his fingers. Later i learned about glaciers coming down during the ice age and forming the valleys and pushing the rocks into piles and forming the mountains. I also asked why sea shells were found on top of mt. Everest , one of the highest mountains in the world. The sunday school teacher told me this was evidence of the flood of Noah. I later learned about plate tectonics and continental drift. The continents came together and pushed up the mountains. That is how the sea shells came to be at the top of mountains. Just a couple of reasons i think it is wrong to teach children, or anyone these lies in the name of some fictional god. Religion is a cult that brain washes people to try and make them believe the lies that they preach. Lies in the name of god.

I read in the paper about some guy quiting his job because the number 666 was on his w2. I think that is taking the religion thing a little too far. I would like to offer that guy the biggest moron award. Congratulations sir, you earned it.

I don't have to keep my beliefs to myself. Religious people don't keep their beliefs to their selves. If they did then maybe i would. I have as much right to state my beliefs as they have to state theirs. By the way, i don't believe in god so he can't come to me as you so beautifully stated it.
