I believe in God, I believe the Devil is real. I do think that churchs have made religion a thing it shouldnt be. Where does it say in the bible to be miserable? The bible does contradict itself in very many ways. Im just happy being me and being the best of who I am. Thats all the church I need ya know. I can get preached at in my own head and have my own opinions without being blasted by bible thumpers. Feel me.

personaly i don`t beleive in god or the devil. i think people invented god for their own purpose, to make themselves beleive that after this life they get to go somewhere else. the truth is god isn`t real. the bible is lies invented by people .i think people should have every rite to beleive whatever they want. you can beleive in santa clause and the easter bunny too if you want to.

Lies and hate? Wow. Sounds like you've had a bad experience with a church. It happens and is unfortunate.

I'm doing what I want tayyyyyy, because I have free will. So no one is forcing me to do anything still, I choose the follow the Word, as best I can. I choose.

I never was an atheist (I just wasn't that stupid) but I was an agnostic.(Look it up; I don't have time to do your homework for you). I was tested by the U.S. Government for a job and tested in the top percentage of people in this country (so I'm not dumb!).

I just wondered how much of all there is to know that I know? 10%? 5% 1% and wondered if God could exist outside of my realm of knowledge. If a single human cell is more complex than New York City, then how did it get that way? If our own galaxy is at least 100 light years across, where did it come from?

I have since studied and have come to the realization that, oh yes, God does exist. He is much larger than most have ever thought of and more complex that our little brains can imagine.

I once had a microscope and a telescope (not cheap ones either) and figure that nothing is too big for God to handle and nothing too small that it doesn't matter to Him.

You guys are right about one thing - there are people who try to profit from religion - I won't let them stop me from believing. Just keep an open mind and study for yourself. Maybe you'll change your mind - maybe not - time will tell. Oh, by the way, satan is real too - He has bad breath (I have been that close)- Good luck!

If you will notice, most smart people don't have to tell everyone how smart they are. Its kinda like people that are always talking about how much money they have. Rich people don't talk about having money. Religion is a crutch for weak minds. Its just a way to reason with yourself why life sucks so bad at times. But theres nothing wrong with believing. Its a good set of rules to live by and with the exception of holy rollers judging everyone, it doesn't bother anyone to believe. So do whatever makes you happy!

I have to agree with just about everything you are saying - especially the part about judging everyone - BTW - I do believe the Bible - I find "attitude" on every page - I try to have a good one with everyone I meet and know. Most athiests that I have known are so because of some of life's experiences that caused them to be so. Like I say - Good luck!- Hope it all works out for you - If you should live much longer, look back on this date and see if believe yourself smarter as time passes - I look back on last year and can't believe that I was that dumb!

you sound very confused. it`s really simple. everything started from a single atom. we got lucky this rock we live on just happened to be in the right spot in this solar system. then life evoled on this planet, and we evoled to be what we are today. we just got lucky to be here. as far as god goes, he isn`t there. this universe wasn`t created. it was just an accident. a fortunate set of events that brought us all into existence.

and by the way, if you are agnosti, that means you don`t beleive in god. you are an atheist. maybe you need to call yourself something else unless you are one of us, and you are an atheist?

Actually, to be agnostic does not mean you don't believe. In general, agnostics believe there is a God but don't choose to follow everything that people who are christians do, or are just unsure about the whole situation. I'm an agnostic. I look at both sides of the situation. Yes, science explains multiple things that happen, but not everything. Do I believe there is a God? I don't honestly know. But what I do know is that there is no way to know for certain. Which is why I don't put down people who do believe and go to church, because that is there choice. It's wrong to judge people over religion and to call people stupid because of their opinion on something. Because if a God fearing person called you ignorant for not believing you would become upset. So who cares if someone believes or not? It's their choice. Why can't we just accept everyone and their opinions?

Well I'm a firm believer in God. Tell me how miracles happen? Is it from a little atom? Really?! Have you ever known someone to have cancer then they go back to the doctor and they're cured? Well I have. Thats the work of God. This is the most ignorant topic ever. I guess all you non believers will be very surprised when the time comes.

Why do these topics get started? People complain about Christians trying to push their beliefs on people but its ok for you to do the same. When I hear people talk about how the world came from an atom it honestly makes me laugh. How can you see all the beauty that surrounds us and think wow that atom sure did make a beautiful place for us to live?! That's insane! God created the world so we would see its beauty and know that there was something bigger and greater than we could have ever dreamed. I think most of you are just searching for something and obviously you aren't finding it because you are on topix starting discussions on it. He is real. Take a look at this world it is crumbling. How can you not see that? I will praise Him until I take my last breath. He has seen me through some hard times and I am proud to be a Child of God.

i think you mean gnostic instead of agnostic. but even the gnostic beleived that the god that created this world was evil. agnostics don`t normaly believe that this world was created at all.
