30 Somethings Living In Big Canoe?

My husband and I have been looking at the Big Canoe community to live. We are both in our 30's. My only concern is that it feels like a retirement community. Are there people there in their 30's? Does anyone know the age statistics or have a good idea of the age statistics?

I have a weekend/vacation home in Big Canoe and am in my 30's. There are lots of people under 50, but fewer under 40.
Overall, most people full-time residents are retirees, but many part-timers are just younger people from Atlanta. And that is increasing as the suburbs keep spawling closer and closer to Big Canoe.

I explored the site... looks like a plastic Disney village ... rather "Stepford Wives" looking. the web site is almost utopic in its description. Everything is manicured, controlled, clean, antiseptic, calm,... no motorcycles allowed? No HD's or Gold Wings? or BMW's?
WTF?

Seems like a place where the mind can calmly rot away into blissful obscurity.
