Rumors fly over Deal's possible successor

While U.S. Rep. Nathan Deal is expected to make an announcement about his political future this week, the mad scramble to fill his 9th District seat is quietly happening in the background.

I would hope that whoever runs for and successfully wins his District has a similar moral fiber and values.

Let me add that I think Congressman Deal would be an excellent governor. He may be the only Georgia Republican that I would consider at this time.

I'll vote for and support Nathan Deal for Governor! I agree that Nathan Deal has much more integrity and honesty than Sonny Perdue and would be a much better governor!

Can anyone tell me what Nathan Deal accomplished in the House on illegal immigration with a Republican Congress and President for 6 years??? I wouldn't vote for him for dogcatcher. What about his monopoly on auto inspections? And his back room insistence to keep it that way? Just what we need- another good ol' boy crook for governor. Think I vote for Ray McBerry. If you really think Deal did a good job, list some of his accomplishments!

And accomplished what??? The demcRATS have taken over in case you didn't realize it..Why? Because of the incompotence of Republican "leaders" such as Nathan Deal. We need new blood. He proved himself impotent in Congress and that is the last thing we need for a Governor
