I'm 100% pro gun, but gun owners that don't keep their guns in safes when away are totally irresponsible.

Keep it under your pillow at night, OK!. Tuck it in your waistband if you have a permit, ALLRIGHT! If you're home, you can leave em all over the house, NO PROB! But when you go to the grocery store, to work, whatever, and leave them home unattended, LOCK THEM UP!

Columbine, those two middle schoolers in Indiana or wherever, all came from law-abiding owners who didn't lock em up. Coulda saved a lot of lives, not to mention a lot of hippie flak from gun control advocates if owners had simply dropped them in a $50 safe before leaving the house.

This kid was clearly out-of-control and on a mission. Thank goodness the policeman wasn't hurt/killed. The "kid" needs to be tried as an adult, and whoever those family members are need to share some responsibility for those guns being too easy to get to. It's ridiculous. Like Nik said, lock them up people!

Oh lord. Waiting...for anti-gun kooks to chime in and say "see guns are bad".

The parents should be charged as well as the boy for allowing him access to a loaded gun.

Lock this kid up for attempted murder of a police officer. PERIOD!!

He shot at an officer, not a regular guy on the street. So that goes to show you he will kill me and you without a SECOND thought.

ADULT JAIL TIME for this loser.

His sentence: Take him out on a boat, put him in the sea and watch the sharks tear him up. Let him feel it before dying.

This teen should be sentenced to prison till the age of 21. The people who allowed this teen to get access to these guns should be prosecuted and heavily fined.

Hey, Jeff ...

While I appreciate youre input and insight, I beg you .. please .... PLEASE ... finish your GED and improve upon your grammar. You've got the right intent and mindset, but you just need to project your CORRECT opinion in a more intelligent manner. kthanksbye

Professor,
"youre" is a contraction of "you are."
So, in effect, prefaced Jeff's grammar lesson with the phrase "While I appreciate you are input and insight..."
Jeff is input and insight?
Brilliant!
