Maybe she had a limp? You know, the whole survival of the fittest deal where the lion always goes after the weakest or slowest gazelle in the herd...in which case maybe she could have a good cause for discrimination?

"Naked Streaker" seems a bit redundant to me.

Am I the only one appalled at the audacity of this girl? I mean, does she think the law applies to everybody but her? Because it was a "tradition", that makes it ok? I think hazing, underage binge drinking, and getting high are college traditions too -- so I guess that's all alright then?????

The sense of entitlement displayed here is ridiculous. It seems that much of this current college-age generation are spoiled beyond recognition. Too many people told these kids they’re “special”, I guess. I’m embarrassed to be a part of that generation....

You acted stupid and got caught, there, sweetheart. Take the punishment and deal with it! Hope that nobody took pics or video and posted it online – that’ll haunt you forever. If I was a hiring manager at a company, a “streaking” video certainly isn’t going to do much to convince me to hire you. Oh, I’ll bet your parents are PROUD! Great investment in college, mom and dad! How much did that one cost you?????

They arrested eight streakers out of twenty? Either arrest and fine all of them or none of them. It was after midnight and as far as the story goes they were just running. I don't see anything lewd about that. I've seen plenty of lewd behavior by women dressed in revealing clothing slobbering all over some guy. I don't see anyone arresting them.

This kid is wrong for what she did and wrong because there is no tradition for the Miflin streak. I am PSU grad and we never had this tradition. This kid needs to pay a stiff price for what she did and that is that.

Here is the poster girl for what is wrong with our society. Her "I can do anything I want" mentality baffles me. Obviously Mom and Dad are promoting this. If she were my daughter she'd take her punishment and keep her mouth shut. What she did was against the law and now she can carry her criminal record right along with her GPA from Penn State to her prospective employers and beg for a job.

My friends and I are responsible for starting the tradition of running nude in the streets at Penn State in the early 1970's. We didn't call it streaking-we called it "being nude". In those days , the police would just close off Beaver Ave. for a half hour or so and let the event peter out. Several HUNDRED people used to participate nude especially when the Flyers won the Stanley Cup. The first large throng of people "being nude" started on a warm spring night in 1974 when Billy Jean King beat Bobby Riggs. This "creeping authoritarianism" is disturbing. Let them be nude!!

Mom and Dad promiting this? Let me let you in on something. More kids in college do things because their parents are uptight and too strict. For them it is a form of rebellion. And if she has a high GPA, most employers will not hold this type of BS conviction (if she is convicted)against someone. Employers worry about real criminals theft, assault, rape, murder, etc. Not someone who is busted because they walked nude in public with a group of people.. Be honest with your kids, explain that certain actions in life have consequences. If they are smart enough they will understand. Then you will not have to worry about them telling you to GFY without saying a word.
