Can we fire the Chambersburg Borough officials and hire Greene Township to run our unorganized ad hoc Chambersburg Borough Government? They do a much better job. Greene Township has their citizens best interest at the forefront. Chambersburg embraces the fascist ideology, corporations and businesses first, while concern for their citizens is not on their radar screen.

Gee, that sounds like Democrats! Try Ann Coulter's book: "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd be Republicans". Title says it all. LOL

According to the expert witness the Chambersburg Council hired, the land is only worth $500 per acre or 15 cents per square foot. It is in the minutes of the last zoning meeting and will be the record of the new re-zoning structure going on in Chambersburg. I'm not sure how Chambersburg can value a dried up pond at $100,000 when current correctly zoned building lost are appraised at $500 per acre. Sounds like a double standard. Green needs to get a copy of the minutes and consult with Harrisburg.

Go Greene! You have some of that "free" money from Bill Shuster and Rob Kauffman. Spend it quickly. Who cares if the national debt is $9T? Just print more and hand it out. Maybe the risks of this game are over the heads of the Greene Twp commissioners.

What really, really mystifies me is this. All this crying, complaining, back seat driving, Monday Morning Quarter Backing of the trailer park moving and proposed park project and yet when I attend the Township meetings, there is no one in attendance asking any questions, putting the Supervisors on the spot or ASKING ONE SIMLE QUESTION, but yet you have the nerve (more like lack of it) to post all this non-sense on the web!!!!!!

I have attended the meetings and the only discussions concerning the moving of the trailers has been the Supervisors discussing the bids and a mention one time about making it a simple streamside park with a couple benches and picnic tables, PERIOD!!!!

One does not have to go to a township meeting to communicate with the supervisors. One can e-mail, fax, or write a letter. Why sit around all evening listening to a bunch of drivel when there are much easier ways to communicate...and communicate much more clearly and succinctly than making a speech. Maybe the folks in Greene are more efficient and more communicative than Oh ME2 gives us credit for.

And maybe you are made out of cold metal and wires. I have always found face to face discussion to be a better alternative than a no tone, misunderstood e mail.
