Not worth a hill of beans until/unless the speeds get enforced more than we do.

It's a totally open stretch with nothing else there. 55 is fine!

Most Roads are already underposted. The Problem isn't those driving 50 or 55 in this area, as the sight distances shouldn't warrant lower limits. However it is those who are going 65 or 70 down this stretch of Road. If PennDot does lower the limit, I hope all of those who asked for it get ticketed when they are on this stretch. 50 is fairly slow, and you can stop a vehicle in a very short distance if need be. Most roads at 40 and 35 are slower than needed and most of those at 25 mph are just plain ridiculous. Going down hill on a bike I can surpase this. Quit Complaining Complainers.

I think that lowering it 55 will just make peolpe go a little slower come on you all know you go over the speed limit anyway so what it might be 60

Maybe we could push the cars past the park.

It does not matter if you lower the speed limit or not. People are not gonna about it anyway.
It's a wide open stretch people can 100 or more on that road.

Why not have signs similar to a school zone which could be activated when there is an event at the park. It does not make sense to lower the speed limit 24/7 for the occasional time that a lower speed limit is needed.

This is like building a house close to a farm and than complaining about the smell.
Why didn't they consider this before building the ball fields.
What about bypass don't they understand. Maybe the entrance and exit should not be on the bypass.

Crazy is right. They could just as easily put the access to the park in the villiage of Scotland, where the speed limit IS 25 MPH already.
