It is intirely irrelevant that this person caused the high speed chase. He was speeding, the State Trooper should have followed as close as safety allowed and radioed ahead. He was not only endangering his life, the life of the speeding vehicle, but the lives of bystanders.
I feel really bad for this Policeman, I sympathize with all of them. I have two nephews who are police officers. I just think they need to use common sense.
This speeder is guilty of traffic violations only, not the death of the Officer who was chasing.
