Hey does anyone know who had the accident at the interesection of the 127 by-pass and the Frank Campbell Road? That intersection has seen several fatal wrecks since the building of the by-pass! I'm very sorry for the family and I mean no disrespect. I'm just overtly curious.

Aww, did someone die in that wreck? It happened right when school was leetting out. It's a shame that we can't get out on the roads anymore, without worrying about being in a wreck. I'm scared to drive on the by-pass anymore! I've never had anyone to pull out infront of me at the Frank Campbell road (maybe because I don't drive out there that often,) but it happens around 50% of the time that I'm driving on 127 and come through the White Oak intersection. That place is down right dangerous, and you are seriously taking a chance with your life when you drive through it. Anymore, if I'm having to go to the Park Road, I will just turn onto White Oak at the intersection, instead of crossing my fingers and trying to drive through it, because I've had THAT many people to pull out infront of me there.

the person killed in the wreck was a member of my family his name was ervin taubert he worked at the co-op in the tire shop. he was a very quiet person for the most part and he saw the vehicle coming across the line toward him and got off on the shoulder of the road and the other person still hit him and hit him with such force that it spun ervins car around to where it was facing the opposite direction on the side of the hill in the grass. Ervin is the second devastating death in our family in the last 2 months. Dwight Taubert and ervin were first cousins. Dwight passed away on August 4 and both deaths were complete shocks

Thanks for posting info. His widow is my cousin and while we don't get to see each other very often, she should know that she is very much loved and will be kept in prayers through this unimaginable time and beyond.
From earlier postings, it sounds like maybe something needs to be done at this intersection? Maybe now there will be enough evidence to get that done before anyone else loses their loved ones and someone is typing to them from another state.

It's just like when the man got killed on the motorcycle on the Round Mountain/52 intersection. How many times had that girl been arrested, and just gotten a slap on the wrist? Shoot, I heard from her family that she was high at the time that she killed that man, with her kid or kids in the car with her.

The drinking and driving, or driving under the influence of drugs, laws need to be more inforced in this county! I have very close relatives who have more offences on their records than I can count on my hands and feet! And still, they're out here running the roads, endangering my family, and your's, lives!

It's a damn shame!

Thank you Leasa, I know I'm well loved by you an my family. I know that Ervin was well loved by many people. He was the most precious man in the world and had been through so much. I know that I've been held up by prayers of family an friends and that's how I'm going to get through this. I'll never get over it, but I'll get through.

Love an thanks to all those who sent prayers up an brought food, phone calls, etc. Ervin never said a bad word about anyone and always tried to help anyone he could.
