Hello everyone! I was just wondering if you all had ever visited the site, www.golsn.com , or by it's old name of www.localsalesnetwork.com ? If you haven't, you should try it out! If you like classifieds, that's the site for you! It's for this area of Tennessee, like Cookeville, Crossville, even the smaller places like Allardt, Pall Mall, etc. I really love the site, and thought you all might also! It's kinda like a mini ebay!!!

Yeah its a great site we sell alot of Vehicles on there and have bought quite a few also. But as with any classified site (and Im sure you probably know what I am talking about) You really have to watch out for scams. But like I said it is a great site and I plan to keep doing my buisness there.

I love this site and use it often. I have sold things and bought lots of things. The people are nice and close enough to drive to there house to check it out or meet half way. I like that better than ebay, where you never know what your going to get. ~:-)

I agree with everyone and like ya said ITS FREE, and that really makes it wonderful if you are selling a vehicle because it can get really expensive on ebay.

Another good site also is www.craigslist.com but you sometimes have to travel just a little farther in TN but they have some neat things on there also.

Retail Me Not.com is a web site that gives online shoppers discount codes for various stores.

I know of other sites that have tried to be like LSN and they all have failed. It really is pathetic. They need to get a life and come up with their own ideas. Good grief, they are even stealing the name.

LSN was a "joke" for quite a while..it takes things a while to get going. The great thing about living in a free market country is anyone can create a service for the public and have a go at making it work.

LSN wasnt the first of it'skind on the net,nor is it the nly successful online classifieds form on the internet.

Obviously LSN is not the only online classifieds site. My point is, these people need to use an original name and not try to steal someone else's name. That's all. "yourLSN"... come on, give me a break.

"Local sales network" is common words and "LSN" wasnt the first to use those letters in their web addy.

Well, you make a valid point, but to me it seems they are trying to steal someone's copyrighted name. They think by just adding "your" to the front of it makes it ok, and I guess legally it is ok. To be honest...it makes no difference to me, but I think it is a little shifty. That's all. It seems they may hope someone will think they are the real LSN.

You cannot copyright 3 letters if they are used in another web addy.

A good friend of mine had a website using the "local sales network" within it's addy 4 years before LSN was ever on the scene.

I am not a copyright expert, nor am I claiming to be one. My point is, it is simply the impression the name "yourLSN" gives. I said "it SEEMS they are trying to steal the name", not that they are. It still seems to me that they are trying to ride LSN's coat tail. I guess LSN could see it as flattery. To be honest, I am not even sure why I care :)

Just to back up my copyright comment, I copied the following from LSN's website:(And yes, you are correct, they do not have "LSN" copyrighted, but they do have three others)

GoLSN, Local Sales Network & LSN Classifieds are Trademarks of Local Sales Network, LLP. copyright 2002-2008

Based on the website's copyright info found on the site, it began in 2002. I am surprised someone locally had an online classified's site in 1998 (based on your comment about your friend), but I guess it is possible. Surprising though, because that is the year Ebay went public...EBAY! It's too bad your friend didn't stick with it, their site would be huge by now.
