Bad part is until he finds his bottom the kids will always suffer. Most have to hit bottom to ever get better,if you keep them from hitting bottom stuation stays the same.

And that's when the courts step in and take the kids. Having kids shouldn't make somebody immune to punishment.

I hapen to agree, if the scenario is real,DeDo. I dont know who you are though. Those who could harm those undeserving of harm and intentionally get behind the wheel of a car while impared are especially bad people

Until he finds his bottom his entire family will suffer and so will others that are on the roads. I hate to see his family suffer because of the choices that he has made but that is what goes with alcoholism and until he reaches his bottom or the courts do something he is a danger to everyone around him.

He is going to kill someone if they do not get him off of the streets!! I have a hard time believing that our court system has let this happen. How in the world did he get out of trouble so many times? And, it wasn't all in Fentress Co. Maybe this time when he goes to court they will make him pay the consequences that go with his actions.

I hope and pray they get him and others like him off the roads. When people get caught DUI, it makes me wonder how many times have they drove before without being caught.

DUI takes seventy years to not show on a person's driving record. If there was five years since his last conviction for DUI, he can use the "TN DUI Loophole" and he CAN be tried and convicted for a 1st offense DUI. Depends on if he hires an attorney that knows what they are doing. This is probably how he was able to rack up so many DUI charges and was out there doing it again. I see drunks all the time all over Cookeville. Seems the worst of the worst are out there from 10 pm until 4 am. But, I do see random drunks in the evenings probably coming from a happy hour at some bar somewhere. Call in to police/sheriff's dispatch whenever you see and or suspect a person is driving while under the influence. Every call counts and if we all band together and start calling in on these drunks, we can save lives and get these sob's off of the highways/roads! Always try to get their tag number, the county, and the make/model of the vehicle if it's safe enough to get close enough to them to do so. It's so easy for them to just call a taxi. But, most refuse because they don't want to leave their car at a bar and go through the hassle to get back to their car in the morning with a hangover.

I agree, that is real good advise. All it may take is a simple phone call to save peoples lives.

The court date is tomorrow. Let's see what happens this time. I sure hope something does whether it be treatment or jail, just do something finally.

Probaby not much..This will probably just be a preliminary hearing..If he looses there,it will go to the Grand Jury...It will probably be several months from now before you will know anything..Possibly as far away as in the fall.

And that is what is so screwed up with our court system. Let's just go ahead and let him back out on the streets where our loved ones drive so he can hit someone while he is drunk AGAIN!! If the courts had done something before maybe, maybe not, he wouldn't have gotten his 7th one in the first place. It just makes me sick to think that our wonderful court system has allowed this to happen. I guess it is all about who you know around here. Or, how well you can con your way out of trouble!!!

Sometimes it matters how good your attorney is also..You may know tommorrow if he pleads guilty, otherwise it will take a bit longer.

Some expensive lawyers only handle DUI cases, and are good at finding something that is not done right..If all the I's are not dotted, and all the T's crossed, they can get you off.

Of course they can. I guess they can lay down and sleep at night knowing that they just help put a drunk back out on the streets. Just hope the ones that they help out of the DUI charge never hits one of their loved ones.

I drunk drive at least 3 or 4 days a week. I've been doing it for 2 years & have yet to be caught. It's called being a professional drunk driver. It can be learned, as in my experience. Anytime I see someone get caught I just shake my head & say, "...Not a professional.."

One day your luck will run out. I hope to God you don't kill someone or yourself but you are probably just making this stupid boast to get a rise out of people.

Well, he didn't get any time this go around 7th time to be exact unless he has to go back to court which is what I am hoping. I know he didn't because I saw him out driving around yesterday. It makes me so mad to see him out running the roads after getting a 7th charge!!
