Has anyone heard of a petition for vote, for the city to legalize pot use. I spoke with eg and was told it is legally possible.

Have not heard of anything like that..This is a conservative area so I doubt it..Also since it is against state law,it would do the city no good..As long as the state has it illegal, you can still be charged with a crime.

Legiislation will be coming soon to introduce medicinal cannabis in Tennessee. Last time it was brought up was too close to the major elections and some of the conservatives were afraid to vote so I believe it died in committee. Give it a little time and the people of this area will wake up and see the economic benefit of legal cannabis and vote for it. It should bring in somewhere between 2-5 million to 1-2 billion depending on how the program will be set up. Anyway they do it will be taking the money away from the Mexican cartels, and that is who usually puts a lot of money against the bill passing. Won't be long....... It's coming. JOIN NORML TODAY.
