let me answer the concerns that Carl has about Chucky's nephew: How Derek pd his payments is really none of your business, but since u seem to think that it is, I will set your business straight. My spouse and myself loaned Derek the money, we r not anyway involved n law enforcement or THE DRUG FUND. If u would read the paper or listen to county comm meetings they have to request to use the funds. So before u start implying about someone else's business, get ur business all together,thengo to this gossip hole an entertain these ppl.

carrot top, drug funds are money seized from drug raids which aren't taxed, its from selling some form of narcotic. But if u have so much doubt contact the state auditor office, cuz the drug fund is audited. As far as his deputies talking i could really care less, CUZ WE GAVE DEREK THE MONEY AND I DON'T CARE WHAT THIS GOSSIP HOLE THINKS OR THE DEPUTIES THAT THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING

Chucky and Marilyn are good people. I wish you people would find somethung worthwhile to talk about instead of bashing the sheriff and his family. Chucky is an outstanding sheriff in my opinion and Marilyn is a very sweet and caring person. Anyone could call either of them at anytime and they would try to help you if they could.If people would just leave them alone and quit trying to stick their nose in their personal lives. GO CHUCKY AND MARILYN!!!!!!!!

fentress co. will always have someone that has family or friends that they show favoritism to. i feel sorry for anyone that really wants that office,but from past experience i know the sheriff,d.a. and court clerk[frank] made deals for people. i was one.thanks to a few friends of mine. i hope someone else runs,out of the blue.

I truly believe Spencer Hoover would make a good, honest, BY THE BOOK sheriff. But, what is so sad but true fact of the matter is, the people of this county don't want someone of this character. Maybe this next election. One can always hope I guess.
