Allardt Elementary Named in Top 5 in the State! Awarded the Baker's Award!

Allardt is no better than any school, tell me how many times Allardt has won a state championship in basketball, or won the most first place ribbons in field day. They may have the highest TCAP scores, but thats it, and the only reason they have the highest TCAP scores is because the least amount of kids in the county go there. If Allardt is such a great school, tell me why don't any kids go there???

I am not saying one school is any better then any other school but I would be more concerned with how a school does academically over how well they do in sports. Your academics follow you for life, sports accomplishments, rarely do. Schooling isn't a competition, it sets you up for life. I don't understand why so many adults argue over what school is the best. Just be thankful that your kids have a school that they can learn in. Sounds like it is more of a competition for adults rather than kids.

Last I checked there isn't a state championship in middle school b-ball, but I do believe that they won the county tournament this year. I believe that they won more ribbons last year at field day and was just a few short of first place ribbons. Your right, they have about 150+ less kids(and still competitive) but that is because of location. All the schools in the county have their positives and negatives. But congrats to Allardt on their positive headlines.

the reason allardt is the best school is because the teachers actually care about the kids and not the money. I have been to most all the others schools in the county and the teachers just don't care.they let the kids do whatever and if a student is doing poorly they don't lend a hand to help.

guys CALM DOWN! i go to allardt and yes it does have very good academic scores..and yes we do hav some good athletes..but really we just need a good education thts what school is for remember? basketball, cheerleading, cloggin and other things are just afterschool things

You are a liar, and I doubt you even have children at Allardt. There is not a teacher one that would make fun of a student. They only want the best for them, and try to prepare them to be the best. I have seen all the schools and Allardt has some very good children. I have overheard teachers talking about how blessed they are to have the children and parents they have, but I have never overheard a teacher saying anything negative about anyone.

If Allardt is one of the top 5 schools in the state then they deserve better recognition than just being a thread on topics. That is a major accomplishment. Congratulations to Allardt Students, faculty, and staff. Expect and they will learn. Keep doing what you do! Believe it or not, you are appreciated by this parent.

Allardt is a great school with great kids. Even though it's the smallest school in the county it's always competitive in academic fairs, science fairs, etc. Congratulations to AES and have a great summer.

Sometimes the proof is in the pudding. Allardt had the highest academic scorces in the county. I believe that they won at least one of the basketball touraments (even though they are the smallest school.) I saw the list of students at YAI that wer on the A-team this year. There were 24 freshmen on the A-Team, 14 of them were from Allardt. Over 50 % of the YAI Cheerleading squad last year was from Allardt and 50% of the girls basketball team was from Allardt. Remember Allardt is the smallest school in the County. Seems like they are turning out pretty good kids

All the schools in the county produce good kids. I just thought that Allardt should be recognized for such a great achievement. I'm sure all parents are proud of their school and should be.

because Allardt wont let your kids just do nothing i went to another for a while and the bathroom had writing all over it the lockers had cussing and anything you could thing of on them........my point is that Allardt is a good school and the teachers care about the student not saying that the teachers at the other schools dont they want you to do good and have fun learning

My children go to Allardt and I wouldn't have it any other way. The teachers are very nice and helpful. They want the best for the students. All the teachers are very nice to each other. Lunch ladies are very nice. Very clean school!!!! Bathrooms don't smell(like most other schools in the county).
