So Im guessing you could become one yourself, gain 200 lbs and chase all the bad guys away?(Not saying all the police officers here are that way, because we have some very good law officers here). But on the other hand some of the people here in this town need to wake up and realize this is 2009 and alot of the women can do just as good job if not better than most men but men like you wouldnt take the time to see that because your afraid some woman may intimidate you. Try not to discriminate so much and you may find you can become a much better person!

I have nothing against female cops. My wife has an associates degree in criminal justice but I guarantee if she put in an application they would ignore it. Its just the way the cops are around here.

What? Is someone saying we're behind the times in this town? Not me, I'm right up on things. Just yesterday I found out about this new invention called "e-lec-tris-ity". Yea, sure enough. No more candles or oil lamps for this old dog. I got what they call a "light bulb" on the front porch so I won't stub my toe anymore when it's dark and I'm coming home at night.

Seriously, if you're being attacked or robbed by someone.. if you had your choice of someone to defend you, would you really choose a woman over a man?

Honey as long as they are trained the right way I dont care which one shows up. I dont care if they are black,white,pink or purple for that matter. If a woman is tough enough to go to the academy and make it through just like a man she deserves to protect and serve as much as anyone else. Im not saying any flossy May off the street should be a cop, Im simply saying if a woman is trained there is NO reason why she shouldnt qualify for the job.

Woman have been in patrol in law enforcement for decades now. It was a male and female police officer who shot the terrorist at Fort Hood, and I might add that after she was shot, she continued to shoot to stop the threat. I'm not surprised at women like Spectrum 31. I've seen to many of them who judge women by standards that just don't hold up. Not Surprised nailed it. I don't care who you are, if you are trained and know what you are doing, if you serve with honor and courage than I don't care what you are. There are men and woman fighting in the middle east. The women there are fighting and dying along side the men, they are not painting their fingers or watching soaps on the TV, and they certainly should not be refered to as Little RAG MUFFINS by someone who has no idea what it is like to be in harms way, either as a police officer or any other job protecting us.
