I work at Robinson Mfg.and I have nothing about the factory going out.It is true that 36 people were laid off due to lack of work for sewing machine operators but the finishing dept. is still going. There hasn't been any sewing since before Christmas, only inspection work and finishing.I feel for those that were laid off and my time may come soon. Keep us in your prayers, as this is the only income some of us have to pay our bills.

I am one of the 36 employees. I have worked there for 14 years. Robinson has been a good company to work for and my co-workers were all like family. I love each and every one of them, even Sam. I'll miss everyone, but I guess it's time to move on now and hopefully something good will happen for those of us that have been laid off. Please do keep us in your prayers as I will you.

Nothing new going on at Robinson Mfg. Finishing dept will get 40 hours this week. The first since before Christmas. Don't know how long it will last, but good for now.

I HOPE THAT THEY WILL HANG ON AND START HAVING WORK FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE STILL THERE. I HATE LOSING MY INSURANCE BUT I'M HOPING THE TAA/ATAA CERTIFICATION WILL PROVIDE ENOUGH HELP ON THE COBRA THAT I CAN KEEP IT UNTIL I CAN GET OTHER INSURANCE.

You might want to check with Human Services. I have been to;d that they will help find health insurance at a reasonable cost. I don't know if it is true, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I really hate it but things don't look good for the textile industry or anything else for that matter. Everything is going to come to a halt over these gas prices. Is it true there is talk of them laying all but 15 people off?

One of the main people in Dayton wanted to cut it down to about 15, but one a little higher said we would try it like it is for a while to see if things changed.

I have tried to guess who I am talking to, but can't figure it out. How about initials, then I think I would know.
