My wife and I eat there all the time...we love it. I will say the menu is not huge, and could have more to offer, but the staff is always so nice, and the owner has came up to us many times to see if everything was good, and to make sure we were taken care of. That means alot, compared to alot of other restaurants in town who don't seem to care if you ever come back or not. The daily specials are very good, and you get alot fo your money. Try the chowder if you go...my favorite!

I'd suggest the West End Cafe over the Garden Grill. I'm an out of towner (former in-towner) and I've had both in the last few days and WEC was much better with better service to boot!

I thought that some of you might find this website helpful. http://tn.state.gegov.com/tennessee/ Just enter your zip code (38556, 38504, etc) into the zipcode option. You don't have to enter the name of the restaurant or anything. When entering the zip, it will show ALL businesses that serve food, including the schools. It gives their restaurant inspections scores, and goes into more detail if you view the inspection. The Garden Grill scored a 92 back in December.
Just thought this would be helpful to some of you, when deciding on where to eat at!

This is the very best resturant in town. I have been there several times and have always got wonderful service. The owners are coming around and talking to you, the waitresses are there every few minutes asking if you need anything. ALL the food that I have tried,so far, has the best flavor!
I think the food there is as good as Ole Charlie's. You won't be disappointed.

You must have went to a different Garden Grill than we ate at.The cake was a cake made out of a box cake mix. We were very disappointed in the deserts. Good salad bar though.

I agree about the rumor mill. I only eat there once. I just ordered a hamburger and 26 minutes later they brought it to me. My cold drink had about one teaspoon on ice in it. I ate at the Garden Grill and I though that it was great. NO problems at all.

I've eaten at the Garden Grill four times so far and each time the steak was prepared just as I had ordered. Considering the choices we have here in Jamestown I have found the GG to be well worth the visit and the money. The salad bar is in my opinion the best in town. The service is very good, the young ladies were always asking if everything was alright and if we needed anything else. The owner on most occasions would stop by and ask as well. I have also eaten at the Rumor Mill on several occasions and the quality of the food and the service there does not compare to the GG. I paid $28 for two steak dinners and a salad, which in my opinion was well worth the money. Their only shortfall is the small menu but maybe in time as they grow so might the menu. I would recommend the GG well above any other restaurant in town.
