There gonna Burning our Flag in Fentress Co

Some one told me this and I didnt beleave it I had to go look. True West Campground is gonna burn our flag ( The AMEARICAN FLAG )on Nov 9 of this year. Its on there website under SPECIAL EVENTS. Go LOOK,,,,, http://www.truewestcampground.com/specialeven...
These Yankies are in the wrong town,,,,,,,,, This Pisses me off to the bone.......... Who do they think they are. There from some where up north. This is going to far

Not saying that I approve or believe that it is right. But it says that the intent is to honor our Vets with a ceremonial flag burning. Then raise a new flag. Maybe you are being a little harsh on these folks.

burning is actually the preferred method of disposing of an old and out-of-use flag, as it is considered disrespectful to simply throw it away in a tattered form.

"The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning."

AND I AM A VET. . I did my time and would have died for my country and you.... AND THIS MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL. I dont care who or why ,,,,, WE DONT BURN THE AMERICAN FLAG............

I was 15 years in the Marines. and 60 + years old. The only time I have seen our flag burnt was on T.V. by other countrys...or by hippys after Nam .. And I thought we had AMERICANS living in Fentress County. How sad we have become.

I Have NEVER seen our Goverment do it... Have YOU???? Tell you what,,,, How about you come to my property and give me money and you can watch me burn or U.S.A. Flag. WHAT DO YOU THINK ???? It will be a cold day in Hell. How can someone burn the flag for profit ??????????

The VFW also burns old American Flags. It is the correct way to do it.

I agree..That is the preferred way of disposing of our flag..It is done throughout the entire US..
