The Oblamer administration says Bengahzi, the NSA, and the IRS investigations are just phony scandals. Isn't it about time that Congress and the American public recognize that we have a phony President, and do something about it?

NSA scandal shakes Americans’ trust in government

by James S. Robbins | Posted by: jamesrobbins1 on July 31, 2013 3:22 pm

On Wednesday, the Obama administration released several newly declassified intelligence documents in a damage control attempt over the growing NSA snooping scandal. On the same day, the Guardian reported on the NSA tool XKeyscore, which can track everything people do online, including emails, Facebook activity, online chats and browser histories. The White House just can’t keep ahead of the bad news.

The administration maintains that these programs are necessary for the fight against terrorism, but the American people are not convinced.

A new survey released by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press finds that 56% of Americans believe that “federal courts fail to provide adequate limits on the telephone and internet data the government is collecting as part of its anti-terrorism efforts.” And for the first time in the 10 year history of this poll, more people (47%) say the government has gone too far in restricting civil liberties than those who say it has not gone far enough to protect the country (35%).

Yes, thank you xxxx. Being a regular FOX viewer I had already seen it, but I'm sure others haven't. Especially those that watch the other networks. It is shameful what this administration is getting away with. I wish Congress would wake up and take some appropriate action. There are very few Patriots in DC. Mostly a bunch of pin heads.

Saw a lady on tv that had three free obama phones and she said she didn't even qualify for one. The comanies that give them away get $25 each from the taxpayers and thats not counting the monthly free minutes. They stand outside food stamp offices and give them away to anyone coming out. My friend got one and laughs that he seldom uses it because he has an I Phone.

Now thats a "phoney" scandal.

Bengahzi is a bullsh1t drummed up scandal. There have been hundreds of attacks on embassies since 9/11. Why is this one different? Because the GOP thinks they can blame Hillary.

Yes, there was some confusion about who attacked and why. There were ACTIVE PROTESTS going on throughout the Middle East about the Mohammed movie at the same time. Were those protests linked to the assault? No. Did people know that at the time? No. Fog of war.

As for the "IRS investigation", talk about a joke. A new law goes into effect allowing thousands of groups to claim tax free status and _ONE_ guy gets assigned to review them. SCANDAL! A large number of these groups are people who have declared they oppose all taxation. Gee, who do you think you are going to look into? The guys who oppose taxes who are asking for tax free status?

Further, Non-Tea Party groups were targeted at a HIGHER PERCENTAGE than Tea Party groups.

And, while the NSA spying is troublesome, it started under Bush and illegally. What Obama is doing is legal (though Congress should act to reign back the laws that make it legal).

Funny that the GOP was accusing people of being traitors for complaining about this program when it was illegal and are now calling people traitors while it's legal.

Not that any of the facts actually matter to you guys.

You're entire position was handed to you by FoxNews. You didn't decide anything you think. You're just sheep.

Four Americans lost their lives DA. You have proved on here many times what a POS you really are and you keep doing it. You need to crawl back into your hole and look for clues of truth before you come back out.

No one is saying that they didn't lose their lives.

However, NONE of the Conservatives seem to give two sh1ts about the lose of life. They are claiming there was some sort of cover up because someone misspoke and referenced the protests which were going on all over the Middle East.

Somehow, in the eyes of the Conservatives, this rises to the level of the Bush Administration hiding the fact that Tillman was killed by friendly fire.

You remember the outrage the GOP vented when that came out, right?

Do you? Because they never complained once.

MONTHS of cover up. Outrageous lies. No complaint.
One person immediately after the events says that they are tied to the massive protests and it becomes a year of hearing.

Yeah, no double standard there.

Once again I'm impressed by your well reasoned, point by point refutation and the accompanying facts you lay out...

Oh right, you didn't do that. You never do that.

Why? Because you _can't_. Because you don't have the first clue why you believe what you believe, therefore you can't defend it.

You just spout what the Koch bros tell you to spout and pretend it makes sense.

You are dead wrong about Stray Dog, Nuggy. He has no reason to prove anything to you by choice. Stray Dog knows who he is and has amind of his own. He is a good person that loves his country and is more of a man than you will ever dream of being. Nuggy, you are just a sad and cruel-hearted person.

Those men were somebody's son, brother, or father. I bet their families don't think this is a phony scandal.

Put yourself in their place - wouldn't you want to know the truth?

Regardless of whether or not its a Republican or Democratic administration in charge...after all - at this point, what does it matter;)

Yawn. If you guys loved this country you wouldn't so consistently back a party that is literally trying to destroy it.

The truth about who attacked? Yes.

Would I want endless hearings about one woman on a talk show the day after who mistakenly attributed the attack to the massive protests that were happening there at that time rather than an attack, only to later have that corrected when more information came in? No. That's not a scandal. That's someone getting their information wrong.

The GOP fervor over what amounts to someone jumping the gun belittles the sacrifice of the Americans that died in an attempt to make political hay out of a tragedy.

And you are playing RIGHT INTO IT.

Rather than pointing fingers at a press secretary, how about you ask the GOP committee members why they refused to pass funding for increased security at the embassies?

Their lack of action is partial responsible.

The Sunday talk show two days later was not responsible.

Yet, which one did you guys pick to be a "scandal" and which one gets a pass?

You don't make up your own minds. You don't even know the facts.
