One thing he was good at was trying to deal with all these teens that are on drugs so bad in GC .
and underage drinking.. and all the perv`s But i also see were he looks down on some people also. maybe we will get someone in office that wont do that... But like everyone In GC give them a lil bit of power and they think they own the town..
all we can do is hope for the best with the next one.

Silvis was not from GC...and was like most in this position was not qualified to be in it in the first place. What a hillbilly! I once had a case in front of him that he ruled against the facts even though they were substansiated by federal statute! All for the sake of kissing another locals ASS to get something for himself

Nesbit, 41, is cross-filing on the Democratic and Republican tickets to pick up the seat vacated by District Judge Lawrence Silvis. If elected, he would serve a six-year term.

Nesbit graduated from Grove City schools and graduated magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida State University and has worked as a lawyer since 2005.

He and his wife Shannon have two children.

Silvis’ former seat is being covered by a temporary judge, David Fish. The judgeship encompasses Grove City, Jackson Center, New Lebanon, Sandy Lake and Stoneboro and Deer Creek, French Creek, Jackson, Lake, Liberty, Mill Creek, New Vernon, Pine, Sandy Lake, Wolf Creek and Worth townships.

I have Known Larry Most of my Life! Please don't listen to these Selfish Unknowing people that have commented badly ,previously on this Post! I have had several dealings with him over the years of his office as District Justice! And have nothing but the highest regards for him! The only reason any of these people would have bad things to say about him is because he probably found you guilty of the crime that you committed! We in this community only hope his replacement will do as good a job as he has!
Thank you for your time!!!!

Well quite true it may be that he put forth some legitimate effort to provide legal justice in Grove City on a small scale, but it also remains clear and true that he should have been forcefully removed from office many years earlier.
And lets not forget a couple of these harlot minded females that worked for silvas that earned a proper Bitch Slappin for their arrogance over someone else,s money.
It doesn't take fourteen years to realize corruption in a political position. And the corruption in the police department is as widely known as daylight.

On a more formal note, anyone who has had any type of negative encounter with him without knowing the integrity of the man more indepth with his time out of the office could speak volumes as to his character.
Taking into consideration the people he has presided over and the variations in laws broken. It is easy to lose patience and tolerance with lay offenders.
But quite accurate to say that from the time his mind snapped and everybody became a cash cow and he the' "Siphoner" of the minimal financial credibility of the commoner, he stepped outside his rights to be a member of this society and awaits his due punishment at the hands of those he abused. You know who you are. Or was he correct in his inappropriate verbal abuse and disrespect that you got what you deserved?
But lets face it also that we still have uncontrolled corruption in all forms in nearly every branch of the Government here in Mercer County,
Money, Homes, Freedom, because we the people allow it to happen wake up people and do what right before it's too late.
