under the fireworks picture the caption in the record argus on Saturday July 6 said "Fred Kiser Day" When did the borough come up with this day? Has this been celebrated every year? This is the first time I heard of it. And who is this Fred Kiser?

They announced it at the fireworks that night. He's someone who is very involved in the community and had a lot to do with the events that took place.
