Your saying the driver purposely backed over them? It's been a while since this happened and I don't remember much from the whole thing except that it was a tragedy.

If you have seen my posts for all the forums, you would understand that I did not post such a crass comment. I feel for this family and the demise of a child is very dear to me.
God help the person that posted that comment in my handle. Not only are you a coward, you have no respect for life.

The driver wasn't that old at all and as far a DWI... He was never charged with it. The family of the child claims they have info that was not made public yet we have not been told by any of the family in here what it is. I would like to believe that it was simply an accident, but I was not there and it was not my child. I am familiar with the McDonalds that it happened at (I do not go there..... it's a MAD HOUSE in that parking lot, if you wanna call it that). But then again if it were my child I may be more inclined to demand more attention be payed to the finer points of the investigation and raise my eyebrows at the things that were missed.

I worked at Raymour and Flanigan at that time, and I saw it, from a distance. I was on my way to get some lunch. I screamed running as loud as I could, nobody heard me. I saw the girl get hit, she hit the ground, I froze in complete terror. I never saw him look back. He kept going! I instantly started crying, and returned to work, however, I left work that day. I was sick to my stomach. I couldn't beleive what I had just seen. I don't believe it was an accident, because I never saw the driver look back, even though he had that ATV, he still COULD HAVE ATTEMPTED to look back. I do want to say Ms. Rivera, I am deeply sorry for you loss.

He could have been looking in his mirrors. Why do people always feel that it was done intentionlly because an child was involved. I feel awful for the family and don't wish that on anyone, but from what I hear the man who struck these people is having a difficult time dealing with this. That parking lot is set up terribly and should be set up diffrently. Its easy to arm chair quarter back it all, but I don't beleive for a second this was covered up.
