And once again it's like the 40's and 50's..The Swedes against the Ginzoes.
This weekend is the annual Swedish festival AND St James's Italian festival.

So what's it gonna be...raw pickled fish or a Garduni sangwich?
Head cheese or Pasta Fazul?
Korv or speezy spizey meata-ballas?

Or better yet...TRIPE!!?

I'm an old Swede but that shyt we eat would drive a gotdamn dog off a gut wagon so it's a no-brainer..St James here we come!

Them old ladies with the black knee stockings get together and babble that ginee mumbo-jumbo and make the best tripe since JV's on Harrison had it.

Ya got a free bowl of fava beans and Italian bread too..PYSS on modern times..these damn kids don't know what they is missing.

Thank God my grandson picked me up today and he's taking me to the festival too..If you see some old guy with yellow toenails, give me a push and say hi.

I too am Swedish and raised as so. I remember the head cheese, sardines and lucfisck- may not be spelled right. I too go to the Italian fest. b/cause the Swedish fest is so expensive. In fact I had a relative who traveled from Sweden here and it was in the papers. Good knock

Looks like inflation hit the italian fest at St. James like evrything else! Overpriced samples!Nine Bucks for a cup of pasta, a glass of beer and a sausage! Momma Mia!!!!! I could'nt afford the carduni or tripe!!!!!
