Not only through Panama...I was on Fairmount near Vucote at about 3ish and the white ford explorer came blasting past me, missing me by about 3 feet, weaving in and out of traffic, had many near misses and went blazing around the bend toward Boces. Right behind it I counted 8 sheriff and troopers, lights running and flying down the road after it...all the vehicles were going around 60 or 70 through the area near Big Tree road. I kept going and found a sheriff stationed at the Boces Y in the road toward Ashville, and another trooper, driving right down the yellow, lines came screaming directly toward me and veered toward Ashville. I followed it on a scanner online when I got home, both NY and PA cops were involved in the chase. The Explorer ran up a road, possibly Cheneys and headed back toward the east toward the Ashville area. He then double back and ran all the way back over to Ramsey, at which point he went down to 394 and got on 86 west and drove at what they described as 1-0-0 to the west. He got off the Panama exit and went that way, ended up going through the Clymer area and into Corry. He doubled back and they got him using spike strips just as he crossed stateline road back into NY. He got the car lodged off the road against a tree and a foot chase ensued, they caught him and put him down with the tazer. No word on if he screamed, "Don't taze me dude!". His name was not released as per the Erie news last night. The whole thing lasted almost two hours. Not sure where it originated, but since it had Sheriff's and Troopers chasing him on Fairmount I assume the chase started outside the Jamestown city limits, entered, went down Fairmount, and then left town as it went up the lake.

Oh MY. How very sad to see that life has come to this. I will say that none of you should call him names, or pass judgement on him, because not one of you people have walked a mile... or even an inch in his shoes. He can be a very kind person with real emotions and feelings. He's human and he bleeds just like the rest of us. He chose to let the monster in him take over and this is where it has taken him. It could happen to anyone that is addicted. I don't feel sympathy, what he does is wrong, but I understand how he got where he is. When you hit rock bottom there is noplace to go but up. God Bless the babies he created that have to suffer for his actions and bad choices.

Seriously? No place to go except up? I think he chose to go even lower than that as to putting many other peoples lives in danger. Don't pass judgment on somebody who has no regard for other lives?? Well, he drove at high speeds all over, drugged up or not, he still is a douche that put others in danger. Driving like an damn idiot is a choice, there is no excuse for it. Real kind person who does not care if he smashes into your car when you have 2 kids sleeping in the back. Thank god this didn't happen, but it is a very real possibility. I would not walk a mile or even an inch in his shoes because I like to think of myself as a bit smarter to drive like an ass or to even get all drugged up and drive like an ass. He should try walking in a normal person shoes, get a job, be a real person and try to live normally. Then he would have a shred of respect from anybody.

I forgot where I was going with this, but at least he was caught and nobody, that I know of, got hurt. Hope he goes away for a LONG time.

Check out the post-journal. com - put his name in the search box and click on the "Area Police Reports" that come up - he's had a variety of arrests from DWI to assault in the past 17 months.

Sure, a KIND person gets arrested for unlawful imprisonment, violation of a protection order, assault, and who knows what else.

In fact I can respect your views and yeah maybe I haven't walked a mile in his shoes with drug addiction, but i have battled addiction of my own in the past. My addiction was a serious gambling problem, years ago I had nothing I sold everything I had and everyone went without so i could feed my stupid habits,so i understand addiction. Now onto the drug addiction, yes it is a terrible epidemic in this area i have seen so many people overcome by addiction to pills and coke that its tiring,People are depressed, the economy is bad,and thieves are breaking in everywhere and shoplifting anything just to feed the habits. I have lived the bad side of life and have associated with the worst, and some of the highest class people around here and i will say addiction has no limits weather low class or high class. Maybe i indeed was out of line by calling him a dick, but he was acting just as that right? He could have taken any innocent person or their child's life because he was trying to beat a charge for some cocaine? that's the problem with people with this mentality they make things worst that they ever need to be. The good thing is another person with a habit is off the streets and will have time to clean up which is really a long term blessing in disguise. i do wish him the best of luck!!

I speak from personal experiences with the man. I spent almost four years of
my life with him and he tried to take mine so don't try to tell me what's up cause I already know. And for the record I DONT condone anything he has done it was aweful and I'm so greatful he didn't hurt or
kill anyone with his stupidity Just try to remember ... There's more than one side to every story and them there is the truth. Y'all have no idea where he came from or what he's been through and all I said is that nobody has the right to judge another human being. Someday we will all be judged and
it won't be by a human being.

I'm still a believer in personal responsibility and not blaming any actions on past occurrences.
I refuse to be one of the "WAHHH my daddy didn't give me a nice bike when i was 7 years old, so I'm going to do ________"
And I also agree with phester.

I have no right to judge anybody or anything? Well I think the constitution takes care of that one. Personally, from what I heard that guy should not even be allowed to walk amongst the rest of us. What a horrible man, especially if he has kids? Who the fuck would have kids with this guy? Plain desperation or a one night stand, obviously. I am sorry for your actions with the guy and wish you the best, but to think they let this guy breath the same air we do is unfathomable. There is a place for people of his kind and he has finally found it, the slammer picking up Big Black's soap. I think this is the same guy that just got nailed for DWI and hit a pole too, lmao!!!!

Phester - the only reason this guy was doing what he was doing was because he had the palm of his hands firmly planted on the back of your head while you your bobbing for his fish stick, and paper shredder was patiently waiting for you at Mc'Craps dumpster. How did you end up getting away?
