If you are talking about the rock that they painted, it is on school grounds put there expressly for that purpose. If you are talking about spray painting the bridge in Jamestown, well all I can say is, "At least they asked." Kids have been spray painting that bridge since the 1950's or before. It is a community billboard of sorts so it is not because they went to a Christian School.
As for the kids being stupid, you got me there, but how many of us have not had a close call? We just did not die because of it. Hopefully this incident and the others that have happened in the area recently, will make the teens a little more cautious, for a little while at least.

So some stupid kid endangered the lives of his friends and others, while the police allow vandalism by religious 'tagging'. What is the world coming to?
The kid made a stupid decision and his friends and friend's families pay the price. Is it because they go to a christian school?
What the world is coming to friend is, people like you who seem to be more concerned about political correctness that the actual lives of young children. These young men were not stupid by any means. As a matter of fact, they were bright young men with families and friends that love them dearly. Unfortunately, they made a bad decision that has a permanent impact and has little to do with where they go to school. These families do not need you or anyone else to question or judge what has happened. They need prayer and support or at least enough respect for you to keep your opinions to yourself.

While it is a very sad situation that two teens died and were about to graduate, it is a reminder that so many teens and young adults are fearless and feel that an accident "won't happen to them." They can sometimes be very reckless in their driving and have the attitude that they are above the rules of the road. What about the person or people in the car they clipped as they were being passed? No mention of them and if they were harmed. They simply were innocent victims of this horrible tragedy.

Young people don't believe that it can happen to them. That is the same thing my granddaughter thinks. She has been in two wrecks and had two speeding tickets thank God she ok but God could have took her out of here but do I think she has learn her lesson no because she thanks she invisible,I keep praying for her and I also pray for all teen drivers. She had two friends that has died in car crashes in past year both in Brown Summit. Teens slow down there is no place that you have to be that is worth your life. It might not be your life might be a incident person that you kill or hurt. Please be careful and remember God loves you. These young people that was in this wreck is not stupid they made a mistake. my heart goes out to the family. God will heal their broken heart. My prayer and thoughts are with the family. God Bless

The minister at the memorial service today said it best....
"Poor judgement, bad choices, and circumstances had tragic results. Young people - please exercise some self-control."
